I am really impressed with his improvement this year ! He is a big threat on the run, does very few mistakes, regulates the game really well, has a great kicking game and he is becoming more and more reliable in defense (thanks to Edwards probably) And remember ... he just turned 23 and he is already a world class fly-half, a really difficult position to master ! He and Dupont are a very very scary duo for the next years until RWC 2031 who knows ...
That level of awareness, balance and cold aggression can't be taught. It is almost magical. BTW I have proof that Romain is Australian and his French passport is a fake. I'm working on Aldritt and Dupont, we miss them and want them back.
I think you should be working on Marchand, probably Baille and some of their second rows. Joke aside, ST have a young Aussie lock in Meafou and he's starting to realise his potential.
ahahahahah that's funny :) If I was not french those three would be my "immediate citizenship list + big house and free beer" either. I would add Penaud and Fickou as well if I'm allowed for a discount. Be sure I'll be rooting for Australia vs England ^^ Give those boys a good spank !
@@romainviry3185 I'm not surprised and also as it stands he's not exactly eligible for Australia. And to be fair, second row is probably a position with not the biggest depth for France. Meafou is not quite the finished product but with that colossal frame the sky is the limit.
I think he will retire as the best french n°10 of all time if he stays consistent.. just the beginning of his carreer and yet so much classy plays and titles won

Yeah, during the test match argentina and gerogia in 2021, Galthié tried a 9-10-12 "charnière" with Dupont, NTamack and Jalimet, 10 and 12 becomeing interchangeable. We didnt go with such a crazy plan against the AB, but heh, that was fun to watch !

Thanks Andrew for this one. I'm glad enough that Romain and I share the same first name while his father was also my favorite player growing up... This video made my day and I'll rewatch it for sure. Very good highlight selection. Take care mate, very good rugby content chanel indeed. Lastly I just the love the slight irony in the vid title, british sense of humour is the best ^^ Cheers from France
Guess we have a lead indeed here ;) Romain was madly fan of Dan, he watched every Dan's game growing up with his father. He has expressed many times his supreme affection towards Mr Carter hum hum being very very good at rugby
Romain. Marcus has yet to be tested enough in my opinion. Does not have a good enough kicking game / conversion percentage. Defensively a liability as well, though very courageous I give him that for sure
Can someone show me one good match that Marcus Smith has done in his career, a reference match? I mean no offense but as a French I don't understand the hype and why this guy is in the English starting XV I don't think he played that well in the 6 nations.
Jalibert and Carbonel are more talented, but this guy is more consistent now....and has a club relationship with Dupont. All three are better than Marcus Smith!
They were more talented now this guy is way over them I mean he kicks well, he runs too, always breaking through the line great defender aswell knows how to slow down a match and since he plays with Dupont Since they were teenagers their relationship on the field is astonishing it's like they are twins for real. He is the best number 10 in the north right now not overrated Marcus Smith or declining Sexton.
