I have a Mercedes w204 deisel I did I full straight pipe to the turbo started it up sounds really nice left running for 5 mins then goes back to being really quiet it’s only loud when it’s cold
Dpf heating still in ecu maybe?
This sounds pretty similar to a e60 5 series I’d say.
do you have any fly by videos of this?
Hi, is it very loud? Thinking of doing it myself but dont want it to be too loud
I did DPF off with two diesel sport exhausts I would say not loud enough 😂
Turbo sound 🥰🥰🥰
Did you simply remove the insides of the cat and left it like that, or did you also weld a tube inside?
I dont remember, that was friend car and made it way he wanted, but i think it was only empty cat. Would sound better if tube used.
Onko tästä mersusta enempää videota? Ja paljonko tässä oli potkua ku dpf poistettu?
Im planing on doing a straight pipe on my w212r 250cdi. With a E63 Exhaust it hopefully sounds nice.
Put a video up with Sound id like to hear that
How did it go?
sounds good
Does it smell bad, like can you work in garage with engine on?
Like old diesel when cat +dpf deleted, if cat stay, smell is like new cars, but sound is more silent.
Was it hard to remove the dpf?
Not too bad project, if i remember right that is v-band clamps on turbo and some supports and wires/ hoses.
Did you remove both dpf and cat. and did you get a remap after?
yes, both removed. and remap after that👍
Do you know. Is it possible to keep the sensors on when remap: thanks
@@smulsi I’ve done. Down pipe on mine and a remap but the Dpf code still comes up 😢
@@paolouchicentofanti8494 Next step, no exhaust at all haha
@@Dennis-uj2tx yes sensors still there. remap is made other place, i only make exhaust mods.
any eletronic problems with the cat and dpf removal? i ask myself if after removing cat and dpf a remap will be needed?
Yes you have to map the dpf out but you don't have to remap the ecu if you don't want extra power.
How big a deal is it to map the dpf out?
Nah not doing it for me. Maybe video isn't doing it justice
Can literally see the mufflers it's no straight pipe 🤦🏻♂️
The muffler is emptied 🤦
@@bendaff9618 yeah it will still sound silenced had to be straighted piped to be loud 🤦🏻♂️
Mufflers opened and made straight piping inside it. Wanted it look like stock👍
@@smulsi sounds like alot of hard work :D
@@Star-Performance_ it was 😅
How can you say its a straight pipe when I'm looking at the back box 😂😂
Literally man 🤣🤣
Watch the full video and you will see...
Diesels sound awful with an exhaust system full stop just my opinion
Why u here then? 😅
