Journey has released great records after Steve Perry was out of the band in 1998... Arnel Pineda (vocals) is the singer on this track; he's the current Journey singer and Steve Perry is his hero... Arnel Pineda joined in 2008 after Journey discovered him on YT singing Journey songs live in the Philippines. His saga w/ Journey was made into a Netflix documentary - "Don't stop believin': Everyman's Journey". Journey songs w/ Arnel Pineda - 'Like a Sunshower' ... "She's a mystery" ... 'You got the best of me'... And of course, we have to credit former Journey singer Steve Augeri who brought Journey back in 1998 after replacing Steve Perry (who was unable to tour because of a hip injury) and recorded 2 albums - 'Arrival' (2001) and 'Generations' (2005)... but he was fired in 2006 because of vocal problems that left him unable to perform on tour ... Arnel Pineda came in around 2008 after touring singer Jeff Scott Soto was let go in 2007. Journey songs w/ Steve Augeri - 'Remember me' ... 'Loved by you'... 'Higher place' . However, Journey's biggest hits remain the songs recorded w/ Steve Perry on vocals.

Great song choice! A few others that are extremely popular at their concerts are, “Still They Ride” and two higher energy songs, “Stone In Love” and “Be Good To Yourself”, which is one of my favorite songs from them, because of the message it sends! ❤😊
Can we get some journey that rocks ...try Stone in love or be good to yourself. Awesome songs
Neal Schon is the lead guitarist and founding member of Journey
Two Journey songs you still need to react to that you both will really like are "Why Can't This Night Go on Forever" which is another great power ballad. The other song is "Once You Love Somebody" which has a great bass guitar intro. Both songs are some of their most underrated from their HUGE catalog.
Please react to I’ll be alright without you !! That’s a Fire song. Randy Jackson plays in the band with Journey!! You’ll love it!!!🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶
This is Arnel Pineda. Current lead singer of the band
I’ve never heard Arnel. I think it’s great that they are still out there making music. This was a good Journey esqe song. I do understand, I’m a Queen fan, and at first I had a problem with Adam, but I went to the show and even though it wasn’t the same as with Fred, I could appreciate how it keeps the spirit of the band alive and thriving.
“Who’s Crying Now” if you guys haven’t gotten to that one yet.
The version of Who's Crying Now off this disc is awesome.
I almost drove off the road the first time I heard this song on the radio. I was so excited that Steve was back! Then I found out it was their new singer and I tried really hard to not drive my car off the road and over a cliff from the disappointment. Pineda is pretty good though.
The Revelation Album was the first one done with Arnel Pineda. He's a great singer
Amber I can see you taking this song in Heart and Mind. Towards the end of the song. I believe you was thinking of your childhood growing up with your Loving Parents.
A good “Perry” song to do would be “Why Can’t This Night Go On Forever?”
Mother Father live 1981 & Sweet & Simple!!
Edge of the Blade! It just doesn't get anywhere near the love it deserves!
Y’all are gonna go crazy to realize this isn’t Steve Perry. It’s Arnel Pineda and has actually been with Journey longer than Perry was. He helped them be relevant again years after Perry left
True fan knows the difference between Perry and the imposter. Nope this is not journey anymore!!
@@denisekerry4555 Exactly. Journey with Steve Perry is always relevant
Relevant? Really?
@@adamblank5363 Yeah the guy doesn't know what he is taling about
@@adamblank5363 Yes. They constantly go on massive tours. Sell out arenas and stadiums everywhere they go. They just finished their sold out yearlong 50th anniversary tour, played overseas for the first time in decades and are currently with Def Leppard on the stadium tour. I’d say that’s pretty relevant
I have never heard this song. wow.
Armes Pineda… has bangers! Some of the best journey songs in my opinion… saw them live with him and it was awesome
Hey guys this this Arnel Pineda, Steve Perry's replacement.

thanks guys! 🍒

Will be married 40 years in November so of course I love this song! ❤
I am glad you are listening to this version of Journey. I bought this album when the new singer came on board and was pleasantly surprised.
I sure wish l could see the singer!
Arnel Pineda, lead vocals from Revelation album released in 2008.
Arnel Pineda is a chameleon. dude can do Toto, Chicago, Cheap Trick, Bryan Adams, Survivor, etc. songs and still sounds close to the original..pls react to his/their version of Steve Miller's "Abracadabra" (with Joel Hoekstra, Billy Sheehan, etc.)... now that you've got a "taste" of what Filipinos can do vocally, it's time to dig deep, especially our female singers, i promise you, you'll never be disappointed..thanks again for the reaction guys
Now that you know this isn’t Steve Perry; you guys should definitely check out more Arnel Pineda! He sits in w/ other bands like Chicago also...... 💯🤙🏽😎
When are you two going to do Journey Don't Stop believing?
They’ve probably heard it already. Jordan is a sports fan, they play that at games ALL the time
Nice song! The next Journey song you should do is my favorite, 'Who's Crying Now?'
Rock out Chain Reaction with Steve Perry or Back Talk these are harder rockers that truly show the versatility in Steve Perry's voice.
Hey You guys also should START WITH 1975 JOURNEY - " TO PLAY SOME MUSIC " and " MYSTERY MOUNTAIN " Here is Where it all got started. Listening to these ROCKIN' JAMS is Cool too 🎸🎹🔥 these are fire too
Steve Perry was lead. He left and their current lead aid Arnel Pineda. Guitar is original band member Neil Schon. They are still touring with Arnel. They still sound incredible. Saw them a few months ago in Las Vegas. Sold out show with a special guest Toto. What an amazing night of music! Keep up your great work. This channel rocks! Sending love from sunny SoCal!
Automatic - Pointer Sisters
Too Late To Turn Back Now - Cornelius Brothers & Sister Rose
My Love is Free - Double Exposure
PLEASEEEE🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
You need to do Why Cant this night go on Forever. One of Steves best vocals
Yes this is Arnel. But Steve has been in his way back to singing again. You need to heat No Erasin'. He still sounds the same. Hopefully if he does tour again, I would love to hear him live.
I love Arnel Pineda. He saved Journey just in time.
Arnel Pineda is a Steve Perry sound alike. He doesn't hold a candle go Steve IMO.
Who does? For that matter, who could? No one has searched harder than Neal Schon and Arnel is the closest he could find. Close, but not cigar. Arnel is a great singer, but there is only one Steve Perry, and that is just the way it is.
React to Journey’s “All The Way”. The lead singer is Steve Augeri who replaced Steve Perry.
Nothing against Arnel but I’m a Steve Perry gal through and through!!! 💜💕 always will be!
that's not steve perry, that's arnel pineda...he is the new vocalist of journey
