Personally I despise the name, but sure... So, what's the species of that Porites you showed? I wouldn't mind the names, if they didn't replace the genus and species so frequently. All the name tells you is what color it is, assuming you can keep it that color. The genus and species tells you where it's from, how it will grow, the range in depth it's found in, which other species it has relationships with... And this hobby throws that out the window for a non-descript useless but flashy name. Or my personal favorite, when the same coral has 3 or 4 names, because the hobby can't keep track.
