That's funny you made the comment about all the switchbacks and not seeming to get anywhere. I made the mistake of checking the mileage to drive from Campo to Canada. It's 1420 miles. Huge difference to walk! lol. Isn't it interesting how your demeanor changed once you got up into the pines after all that time hiking in the scrub brush. So refreshing!
Lol yep. I look back on this and a few videos and think how negative I sound. I'm generally not a negative person, but my how seeing the same view and feeling like you're not making progress for days on end will make you grouchy 😂
@@sheepdog0059 I had that same feeling on the trail from scissors crossing to the 3rd gate water cash. The trail kept going deep into one canyon after another. I come out after walking 1/2 mile and see the trail less than a 100 yards across the gorge. 😜
