hi everyone Kevin here from Pasq animatronics welcome to the video this here is just an early demonstration of me testing Jethro Hog's movements using his original proprietary Sally Corp controller is there I think the problems with his left arm here are that I need to fasten Jethro's actual hand to the arm because the hand is attached to his guitar rather than the actual body of the character the foot tap works but it's not grounded anything so it just kind of Wiggles around for now the button on the control panel on the mouth wasn't working so I don't activate it in the video other than that I was impressed with how well everything works the former owner used Jethro to promote a candy business and I was given some of the souvenirs from the carnivals that Jethro Tour to such as Edmonton Klondike days and the San Bernardino County Fair Jethro was built by the sally Corporation in Jacksonville Florida in 1990 as these little stickers here indicate but the tapes I have from him either say 1991 or 1993 on them or they just don't have a year label at all inside his face it says Supermarket so perhaps that helps narrow down who Sally originally sold this one thanks for tuning in everyone!
Very cool to see the differences in controllers like how mine has the stage light switches labeled, but it’s missing the LED above the volume knob like on yours. Can’t wait to see this guy fully restored
Very nice to see an original sally controller, would love to see an overview of that and the jethro mech To my understanding almost every Jethro mech differs from one another in small ways, so I feel its important to document it.
@@PasqAnimatronics one difference i noticed is how this is how animatwonics work air go in these little air tubes as you can see go to into each function one tube goes into one cylinder one one one tube goes in
I wonder if this might be the Jethro P Hogg from Gregerson’s Grocery in Oxford, Al? I’m not certain when Jethro was installed, I was born in 1990. I know he was in operation until around 1995 or 1996. I remember him, but not as well as Hank Winters, which replaced the Jethro Animatronic. I’m sure Sally Corp mass produced these Animatronics so it could honestly be any Supermarket.
@@PasqAnimatronics Not too many as I recall, I did have a bunch or brochures from Sally and others. I got a change to talk with Aaron Fecter,(Billy Bob) and Burt Wilson,(Fatz) at their Creative Engineering,(Showbiz Pizza Characters), Booth.

@@bigjon6822 Maybe! He was used in touring fairs in Canada and the US a lot, but people have told me they think it’s from Gregerson’s originally.
I remember seeing Sally Corp displays at IAAPA 1996,1997 era.

I wonder if huckleberry’s jethro doesnt have a head tilt. I have never seen it work. Probably just broke though.
