- Tokashiki is the biggest island in the Kerama National Park islands. This is a video showing the major locations on the island and some interesting things to do while you are there. It is a wonderful place to visit and has a great, laid back feel, even more than Okinawa.
The Kerama Islands are a group of islands located 32 kilometres southwest of Okinawa Island in Japan. Historically, the Kerama Island group was a part of the Ryukyu Kingdom. For some 600 years, the islanders were employed as skillful navigators for the Kingdom’s trading vessels between Okinawa and China.
