Sensei Seth I respect you for stepping up man. This man is more than a karate master. His boxing is tight when he lets his hands go. He can throw Thai style kicks when he wants to. And he’s the only one out of you three who’s taken bombs from a guy like Woodley.
Metal, combat sports, gaming he’s a master for sure!

we saw this kinda thing with cm punk already....... these guys might be semi decent at this sport but the ufc has a high level expectation and these guys would not cut it

4:25 that was probably the coolest part for me. He did that same little jab to dart counter to stance change in a ufc fight.
I feel like no one sees Wonderboy as a vicious wolf cause he’s so nice and his style is so graceful but I can feel the vibe through the screen, this guy is an animal and when he turns it on is one of the most vicious, tenacious warriors on the planet

Since I got into watching mma hardcore about 5 years ago, you’ve been easily in my top 5 favorite fighters. You’re such a good guy Stephen and above all you’re a terrific fighter. That had to be an incredible experience for those guys.
The karate/kickboxing points style is beautiful to watch..
Love the respect towards each other, wonderboy is the type of guy your ok with being knocked out by because of how nice he is.

Looks real effective for fighting. Watching things coming at you from all over everywhere under control let’s you really sharpen your striking skills. Fun to watch UFC fighters use this type of advanced technique.

They fight super similar, wonderboy is so much longer and bigger tho he would kill him
elias m I wouldn’t say super similar i would say their stance and footwork is the same but other than that they aren’t many similarities.
HA X even then I don’t see it. Wonderboy switches stance more and his kicks are more of a genuine weapon. Conor uses them to gauge distance I feel.
Conors hands are a little higher and he tries to set up his boxing, left hand specifically, Thompson will use all his weapons when it’s time for them to be used, even if that means switching stance
I think they both have very light footwork and pop in and out well, that’s the similarities I’d draw
Wonderboy himself said that Conor fights like him. Wonderboy just kicks wayy more
