𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒 𝐂𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐅𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥 𝐆𝐮𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐙𝐞 𝐙𝐮𝐧 𝐖𝐚𝐧𝐠

The Eighth Moon Festival honours the ascension of the deity Guang Ze Zun Wang (廣澤尊王), also known as Kong Teik Choon Ong and Sheng Gong, the patron deity of Nan'an in Chinese folk religion. Guang Ze Zun Wang is regarded as one of the most revered deities, protecting the nation and its people. This cultural festival, running from October 22 to 27, is organized by the historic Hock Sun Keong Temple in Teluk Intan, celebrating its 179th anniversary.
A highlight of the event was the procession on the night of October 26. Our band was excited to join over 36 troupes, enhancing the procession with our performance. The procession stretched 5.8 km and took over three hours to complete. It was impressive that our members were able to march effortlessly throughout the event, showcasing their resilience and discipline. A huge thank you to the parents and supporters who brought water bottles to keep everyone hydrated. You all are simply 𝐀𝐌𝐀𝐙𝐈𝐍𝐆!
