This is a very helpful video. I will bring binoculars as well. For facial sunscreen I use Haruharu Wonder Black Rice SPF 50+/PA++++ and Austrailian Gold Mineral Botanical 50 because others have burned my sensitive eyes. Happy travels!
@@lauriediekrager8332 binoculars are a great idea! I wish we would have brought some to help see the sloths and other wildlife. And I actually just received the haruharu spf in the mail the other day! I haven’t tried it out yet, but have heard good things about it. Thanks for watching, hope you have fun on your trip!
@@jaszmyngreen4444 when we went in June (beginning of rainy season), the rain would start around 2 or 3pm everyday, and it would be a heavy downpour. It would last for a few minutes and be on and off the rest of the evening with lightning. We were able to get all the outdoor activities we wanted done in the morning before the rain started. And once it started raining we were able to wait a few minutes until it died down before we went out to our next covered location! We were only caught in the rain once and overall it was easy enough to work around.
@@ericawillis4747 I would have some just in case! You can get colones from your bank ahead of time, but it takes some time and we didn’t plan ahead enough for that. You can also exchange at the airport (my experience was at San Jose). Don’t exchange at the counters that you see right when you get off the plane. Those take a large percentage of your money. At San Jose, you can exit the airport then re-enter on the upper floor, and there will be a bank inside before you go through security. They have a much better exchange rate and won’t take as large of a percentage! 👍

Vocal fry. Ugh.
Wow, rude!
