Hey man, nice work on seeing this through to completion! It looks sweet! I know nothing about duck hunting, but I look forward to seeing some footage of this thing in action. Very cool custom project.
Thanks Matt! We are excited for sure..
HEY THAT'S A NICE BLIND. WAS WONDERING IF YOU WOULD BE INTERESTED IN SELLING THAT OTHER BOAT YOU HAVE IN THAT SHOP?
No way! lol, They are great boats, and would actually be really easy to build. Its a Bankes Boat I think.
It looks very well done. Where are you located?
Baltimore MD. But we hunt all over the bay.
How much was the sheet metal and how big a sheets did u get it in
We got 4x8 sheets 16 gauge (0.050"). We ended up using 7 sheets, with some scrap left over. I want to say they were somewhere near 50-60 bucks a sheet from a metal yard in Greenwood Delaware. The blind ended up costing about 2k when it was all said and done. But they are 10k or more if you have them built so we made out. Thanks for the question.
Thanks a lot in gonna start on myne in a few weeks
