Evil Morty isn’t a villain unless provoked by Rick. The omega device is a warning sign basically. He can easily kill every Rick in the central finite curve by grabbing any Rick (could grab the weakest Rick and you see every Rick get erased). I think Rick may come to evil Morty for the device. Two theories:
1) Use it to eliminate a larger threat
2) Use it to sacrifice himself and erase every rick as he knows Ricks do more harm than good and can lead to bigger threats like Rick Prime.
Evil Morty’s goal is to escape the central finite curve and leave Rick’s domain
i think evil morty consider the situation pretty safe since the only Rick smart enaugh to invent the device likes his Morty too much to consider using it on him.
or evil morty kill all ricks and our morty have to stop him and we will see a battle of evil morty and "morty prime"

Someone in his chat asked "what if he has an Operation Phoenix", but I like to think that Rick Prime thought himself so above, so much better than all over Ricks, that he didn't even think of failsaves, because he was utterly convinced he couldn't fail.
I honestly thought the spaghetti episode was brilliant. such a clever commetary on how unethical food production is yet we will all eat it anyway and we would just rather not no where it comes from. This show can be so big brain sometimes.

It touched on multiple things. Ethical foods, synthetic foods, depression and the sympathetic core humans have. The government using things to control ppl and make profits off human deaths. So many more.

Ive been burned out on it but wjen made right its fn delicious and anyone saying its bland or not good doesnt like red sauce to begin w. If you like red sauce even a lil bit well made spaghetti is great. Im just burnt out from my mom making it 2x a week for like 15 years straight. I havent had it in awhile now but thats the only reason why.
Evil Morty is definitely smarter then our Rick. At least now he is. But the difference is Evil Morty just wants to be left alone. The end thing is showing us what wouldve happened if Rick actually took time to grieve instead continuing his hunt for vengeance
I disagree to be honest. See evil Morty stole the intelligence from all the ricks he killed in the past. But those were inferior ricks. Because the knowledge is so varied he is able to think outside the box, but the knowledge is broad instead of deep. In a sense he has more experience than our Rick, but not at the same height. I say the most obvious example of this is that Evil morty had to do a LOT to escape the finite curve, but our Rick is smart enough to just do it. In the opening to episode 5 Rick was just out there as easy as can be.
@YukoValis inferior Ricks are still the smartest man in the universe XD. He wasnt stealing intelligence to gain knowlwdge. He wanted to get away from Ricks so he was searching for one who had intel on the curve. Rick himself is inferior. Hell ep 5 of s7 confirms that. There are literally several hundred ricks who were able to reach to trap before him. And he was just someone who was going to invent portal travel first. It doesnt mean he was one if two to be able to do it ever. Regardless he isnt stealing intelligence...thats techically just learning in general. Prime also says your an Evil morty...a clever one. Which refers to the comics. Since there are 'evil' mortys other than him. My point is by now he is quite literally smartwr rhen c137. He instantly gave rick information which led him to prime. Then proceeds to quite literally oneshot Prime despite not wanting to have been there in the first place. He definitely wasnt prepared for something like that but preformed far better then Rick. He has also been outside rhe curve for months so his range of knowlwdge can be infinitely larger. His portal gun alone is already leagues better. The recurring thing of the show is that anybody remotely close to his Intelligence gives him major problems.

Still one of the best episodes of this season, even one of the best fights of the series. Not gonna lie. Wonder what’s gonna be next for Rick after he’s finally completed his mission and killed Rick Prime. They've pulled this whole season off so far it's been brilliant.
14:21 he's the rickest morty, which used to make people think(before we got the backstory) that evil mortys original rick was doofus rick or the rick dressed as a morty from the citadel episode when he became president.
That's the point of him killing Rick Prime in the middle of S7. It's anticlimactic, it makes you feel the same way Rick did. Empty. It's the perfect way to do that ending and leave the viewer with the same level of emotional impact that Rick has.

Rick killing Rick Prime didn’t exactly feel like a win, Evil Morty basically handed the Rick the W with little effort…
Think about it. Evil Morty did what rick did to the vindicators, wiped out their big bad in a single episode.
I wouldn't say little effort. Rick prime was better than our rick. He had time to build up defenses while our rick spent his time searching. Evil morty gets his intelligence from multiple inferior ricks. It is more broad, but it was enough to turn the tide.
In the Amorte episode the guy they are eating in the intro scene is Ambers ex husband. He killed himself sometime after she left. Their 2 kids are sitting to the left on the screen the first row during the funeral.
Y’all could’ve just given them multiple regular Earth spaghetti recipes

- The episode “That’s Amorte” is the one of the grossest episodes in the entire series.
- In the episode “Unmortricken,” during the fight with Rick, one of the things the visors described one of the Ricks said “quato Rick,” foreshadowing the episode “Wet Kuat Amortican Summer.”
- In the episode “Rickfending Your Mort,” the annoying voice the Observer has is voiced by Dan Harmon.
- “That’s Amorte” is a reference to the song “that’s amore.” “Unmortricken” is a reference to the movie Unforgiven. “Rickfending Your Mort” is a reference to the movie Defending Your Life.
Edit: oh and I almost forgot, the music played at the end of the episode Unmortricken is the same music that played at the end of the episode Rick Potion No. 9, instead of Morty’s perspective, it’s shown through Rick’s perspective.
Thats Amorte was the most realistic though. You have to look under the jokes and absurdity to see all the real world issues they cover. Its easily the deepest episode of the season and possibly since season 3.
Well hey take it from me, if its 2 ricks that discovered infinity...then there must be 2 mortys that overcome their ricks

I tend to agree. It is the kind of episode that makes you question life and humanity. I give props to any kind of episode that can do that.
Its even more incredible if you have depression. That plus the whole life review scene at the end had soooo many similarities to my own life it had me really fd up when watching the episode. I had real tears in my eyes. Brought back a lot of pain I deal w daily. That episode hots like a truck…

I'd eat the spaghetti no problem. Its only weird because the aliens look humanoid. We eat animals all the time meaning it shouldn't matter to us right? When you give that person history and a name thats when it becomes rough.

Most of season 7 was pretty bad, but episode 4 and 5 went hard. 4 really makes you want to take a second look at life. 5 is the culmination of a major plot thread. both did damn fine jobs. I do want to point out that Evil Morty isn't smarter than our Rick. He gets his intelligence from all the ricks he killed, and those are inferior ricks. So his knowledge is more broad and outside the box. It isn't as smart. Case in point evil morty needed to do a lot of work and production just to escape the finite curve. Something as you see from the start of ep5 that our rick can just do.
The similarities to my own life and that whole life review scene really hit me hard. No joke put tears in my eyes.

naw evil morty isn't smarter than rick, he didn't know the diane robot would explode or that the prime rick was a trap but i think their both equally smart in different ways
yeah you have to remember how evil morty got smart. By downloading the brains of lesser ricks. More varity, but not as smart.
