    Wow NV, this was perfect timing for me! I’ve taken the Foundation and Pro course and really enjoyed it. I spent months just thinking about what you taught to internalize it and felt that I really had an amazing understanding of market structure.
    I started an evaluation recently with a prop trading firm and have done somewhat well. To me even profiting $40-$50 every trade is amazing as it’s better than losing $40-$50 or even more.
    I was just trying to see what I can do to stay in a trade for longer as most of the time I just took a small profit when I could have stayed longer in the trade.
    Thank you so much NV for sharing this video and all your lessons!!
    Do you have any courses that focus specifically on trade management in depth? That would be really beneficial for me!

    Hello Neerav, you mentioned a few key points. How can one distinguish on a chart that they are viewing a futures contract and recognize when it is undergoing a rollover process?

    • @nvforex

      A quoteboard can be used to compare the volume on the current and near dated contracts!

    Hi Neerav, thank you for the amazing videos. A question for you; I have 4 columns on my DOM, bid, bid trade size, ask trade size and ask columns.
    When you place a long(buy) limit order it appears in bids(green) column and prints on the bid trade size column (red) when it prints(executes).
    When you place a short(sell) limit order it appears in the ask column (red) and prints in the ask trade size column (green) when it prints(executes).
    My question is; which column does market long(buy) orders and market short(sell) orders appear and print?
    Thanks.

    Thank you very much Nerav. I love watching these videos. Super informative and helpful.
    Quick question.
    You were saying that the trade was going against you despite you had your conviction that the market will go down that day. You said that the buying activity around your stop loss was single digits and you were not impressed by the buying action. However, the selling pressure around this area wasn't amazing either. At the price area of 5114.25 there was a strong buying order of 138 contracts executed. It was around the break even point. Wouldn't that be a warning sign or perhaps a reason to go an break even? After all 35 on the sellers side was the higest at the point.
    Thanks a lot.

    • @nvforex
      @nvforex  2 місяці тому +1

      Great points I wouldn't focus too much on a "single" reading but more on the general cumulative sentiment. Of course as with all things trading there will be some discretion required which is why even at the same point in time you can have two pros winning and losing simultaneously.

    Let me ask you this. Yes, you are "getting a better price" by scaling at a lower price. But why would you scale into a losing position if it is going against your analysis? I find scaling into a position you're red on is just asking for bad habits, because what happens when you stop out with 10 lots when you could have just stopped out with your original size of lets say 2 lots? I feel like that just skews your risk to reward.

    • @nvforex
      @nvforex  2 місяці тому

      I agree one should not scale in "blindly" there has to be a very good reason for it otherwise it is just gambling!

    Good video NV. I noted your set up is slightly 'wider' than my (8t Renko and 5 point TP & SL) so I may mirror these and try them out. But I noticed you seem to have multiple TP points and wondered if you could share the order configuration in Sierra Chart to get that set up please?
