I'm giving this strategy a serious test over 1 Month, (300 Trades approx), in a Demo account.
I'm 2 days into it & it looks hopeful - 11 Wins / 8 Losses, but, once I master it I'm fairly sure, on averages, this will work, (I'm guessing 60 / 40 Win ratio).
It will not make you rich, (unless your positions are 50K or something), but with a few K per position at a 5X leverage.... you will make a living doing this!

backtest give random result. 25 losers(-25), 17 winners 1.5 (17*1.5= +25), result 0. tested eurusd 1 day 9:30 - 15:30.
better result on 5 min and 15min timeframe. in one day 10 losers (-10), 11 winners (+16.5), total +6.5R.

@@matthiasmiller8036 I have created an indicator using this strategy I have tested it on ethusd and worked relatively well with a win rate of 66%. I only trade gold though so I will be implementing it on my gold demo from Monday for a week to see how it will perform.

No, the candle should be closed above/below the level. In technical analysis, when it comes to breakouts, closing of the candle is important.

Please explain how you calculate where to place the take profit line.
In this strategy, it's set at 1.5 risk to reward ratio.
The take profit is 1.5 times wherever the stop loss is (above or below the breakout candle)

@@SoheilPKO nice experiment but too many stop outs. would have to use a wider stop in any volatility. Maybe it will work better on higher timeframes. This is on es. maybe it works betetr for forex as is. tried on oil too, stopped out fast.

EURUSD is the best pair for this strategy, and US London overlap the best time for trading.
After maintaining all conditions What should I do if box is broken upside with red candle or downside with green candle?
It depends. This means that the candle opened with gap, and depending on the gap you can decide because the gap itself can act like a support/resistance level. Better not to pay attention to it and wait for the next opportunity.

@@waqaarhussain2791 i skipped the breaker candle, adjusted the risk/reward ratio. Im also active during the position so i can adjust the sl and tp as needed for bigger reward and lesser loss.

what happens if the trade entry candle is not the same color as the broken candle (ex. in a short position, broken candle is red and trade entry candle is green) do we ignore the entry or still go in? I ask because then the stop loss will not work.
SL is set below the low, or above the high of the breaking candle. In practice you enter a trade when the breaking candle is closed and next candle just opened, and it's far from the SL, unless it's a very short candle which is not a valid break.
What is the meaning of "Multiple of 5 on Time axis"? Can you kindly explain? Thank you in advance!
In this strategy we are considering also 5 min chart, and on 5 min chart every candle is opened on a multiple of 5 on time axis, like 9:40, 9:45, 9:50, etc.

Can this work on 2 and 3 minutes time frame?
Yes the method can be applied on other time frames.
When you place your position after candle close at 1 MINUTE time frame for scalping.. its kinda difficult to calculate lot size as per your RRR.. because the volatility of price at 1 min timeframe..
if you know.. you know
You should be prepared before the closing of the candle. By the help of Long/Short tool on TradingView, and approximate level that the candle will be closed, and also the SL level, you will have approximate position size based on your risk level.
You should be quick.

Every three candle on 5 min, is one candle on 15m. So it should be every three candles.

i have been back testing this!..very impressive so far!.. a question what if i wanted to this on a higher time frame like the 30M-4hr?..do i wait for the 5M candle to close? if so how many of them
This performs better on very short time frames. In case if you want to try it on higher time frames you should do the same method but different time frames, for example if you're 1H, consider 4H candles high and low.

@@XDSasukeUchiha Losing trades are part of the game, and you will have false signals. Make sure you manage your risk properly. Correct SL and proper position sizing based on 1% rule.

But, with 1% strategy, which I used, the position closes before giving a chance to play out. In BTC I put it in 2%. In alt coin, I put it in 5%. I'm not saying that it gave me the desired result, but, it gave my position a chance to play out. What do you think?

It's not working when consolidation stage
not supposed trade while the market is in consolidation.
You should mention not to do this around key levels because at key levels price action should be based on the key level and not just on any five minute candle. So if you do this strategy away from a key level I think this is a very plausible strategy using a one percent of your account size as a stop loss and if you want to hold for a big move once the profit target is achieved move the stop loss to break even so you can try and catch a big move with no risk to your account

I don't know about forex market , but i try it on cryptos and is not so easy, for example in some tests i make the 6 candle make the break for example long, i get position on 7 long and then the market comes down 8-9-10 candle and i loose the trade. Is not so easy.

If you’re using the high and the low of five 1 minute candles then just use the high and low of one 5 minute candle. Or use a 25 minute candle instead of five 5 minute candles. No counting and no marking it’s just the top and bottom of the candle. Is everyone here really that dense?
Yes I mentioned it in the video. Counting and marking on the same time frame is just an easy way helping you not constantly switching between time frames.
If you work only with M5 chart you can't look at what will happen in the next minute which is important for breakout.
Mate, you're calling everyone dense when you failed to listen to him address your point. A significant portion of trading is psychology and focus. So not switching between timeframes will help some people.

At 4:19 of the video: for this strategy, we should consider the previous box broken only when the body of one of the next 5 candles breaks it, not the shadow of one of them? At this moment of the video, the 4th candle with its shadow already breaks the previous box but not with its body, and you say "The candles couldn't break the previous box". Meanwhile, when we draw the 5-candles box we take shadows (HH and LL) into count.
And one more detail: how do you pick the direction of the trade? If the support level is broken - you open short, and if the resistance level is broken - then you go long?

And yes if support level is broken, go short. and if resistance level is broken go long.

No, when you're on 1min, and you count 5, and you draw a box, you actually mark the high and low of the candle on 5 min. Five 1minute candles equal to one 5min candle.
So if you're on 5min, if you consider your higher time frame 15 min, you should count 3...if you consider you're higher time frame 30min, you should count 6.

You do realise your first example is a 0.7pt stop…. Not a single broker would allow that considering the spread would be more than that. As so as you open the trade you would be stopped out 😂
For scalping strategies I always recommend raw spread accounts.
Raw spread account on IC Markets is recommended since they have also the highest trading volume. That's the broker I use.
