We NEEDED this tutorial. You are the best builder of this game that I have seen so far. You can see the hours playing Planet Coaster. Thanks for your content!
Thank you so much for this video. I just bought planet zoo and I was struggling cuz it seemed very hard to build. I so used to sims so with planet zoo having so many controls to build was difficult to get used to. With this video I think I’ll be building better now.
I feel like i have no idea what i'm doing i hope that when the game is released fully that it will give you more of an guide/tutorial like this video of what all the buttons do. I also realized how bad i am at creating stuff
I use 3d design softwares extensively for work, and this was still difficult to get the hang of haha. Usually you don't work with such dynamic cameras in 3d design, your not flying all around the place all the time
This kind of tutorial is extremely helpful for new players who didn't play Planet Coaster or are not familiar with 3D software ,because the building aspect in PZ can be quite overwhelming.I would love,if you could make some more. The pathing system for example could be another topic for a tutorial.Keep up the great work!
I’d like to learn and understand ‘grids’. I can’t seem to get my paths square. They are always circular. Also, I just don’t get the grids and how to build on them so they match up with everything, especially when trying to build a resting area or plaza area.
Thankyou so much for the video! Yesterday I was finding the piece-by-piece system infuriating at points since I didn't know about changing the grid size. This helped greatly!
Thank you so much for this Rudi, your little tutorial should have been in the Franchise mode to begin with. For people who haven't played PlanCo it is hard to figure out just from the ingame little text. A video always works better. Again thank you.
Thank you so much! I just complained about this on the forums yesterday so I was so happy to see this! Can you do a tutorial on better camera handling and terrain building ? Like building complex terrain around paths and such, thank you!
Hi Rudi. I have a question. I’ve made a building in planet zoo and it’s a group. But when I try to move it up an down it snaps to the rid. However I don’t want that and can’t seem to find a way to undo it. When I move it sideways it doesn’t snap to a grid.
If you put a fence next to the building and it is somehow inserted into it, does it actually stay in the building or does it get removed? Or when you download a building from the workshop and only use the top of it for aesthetics, do you still pay the entire price?
Thank you! Haven't played coaster so I am totally new to this buildingway. Is there a way to rotate an object in a sphere way without having to put it down first? Not just z-axle

you are welcome =) and yea, so many people asked, so I did this!

It gives you a lot of options, but I can see how newcomers or people who are not familiar with 3D Design Software are easily lost

i am familiar and i didnt get it at first xD
I’m easily lost. Since 3D software is new to me. 🤣
Thank you! I was feeling pretty overwhelmed...this was really helpful.
thank you so much for this video! for someone like me who never played planet coaster this is life saving :D

It's not so much overwhelming, it just fails to properly explain itself and is logically not very solid.
Thanks ive learned few new things from your tutorial but still trying to figure out best way to make custom shops.

it is posible to do a underwater excibit for crocodiles? i mean, that people can see from under the pool the animals swimming...
yes it is
Yes that's possible, also for hippos.
Just built a road into an underground building with habitat wall/window to one side.
@@Fallenangel_85 i mean to see the belly of the crocs... not from one side o.o
I wanted to ask this too! Like you can see in Pairi Daiza where you have these windows underground. You can see people’s head inside the habbit
@@Bulkathoss From below should also be possible with glass roofing, but I didn't try it yet.
Thank you!!!! I was having so much trouble building things.
Hi Rudi, could you please do a tutorial on how to build underwater viewing areas? I’m at a loss. Thank you!
Please continue to do more of these. I’m hopeless without them! lol
Thanks a lot! I was waiting for this. Building is hard! I've just spent a solid 8 minutes attaching a screen neatly to the wall of an enclosure -.-
Wow! When i get the game, this Will be extremely helpful! Its like If i know How to Build already!
I love the way you pronounce duplicate. Informative video btw, good work.
Wow, this was extremely helpful. Thank you very much!!!!!

Sorry, I don´t really get what you mean? The building doesn´t change in the franchise mode :)
You should do an underwater crocodile exhibit. I think you could make that amazingly cool
This was super informative. Thank you
You are welcome :)
New sub here, found ya today! great content and damn u are posting content left and right! its great! =3 keep it up
Haha don't expect this every day :P but enjoy the content and welcome :)

Terrain Tutorial sounds interesting! I think I´ll do this :-)
Nice video!
Can you make a tutorial video for building Seaworld type pools and natural pools? :)
I knew there were a lot of shortcuts in planco and planzoo but I didn't know them

Thanks for that!
Very useful! Thanks!
you are welcome :)
Very helpful thank.you
does anyone else have the problem, where the keepers won't refill the food dispenser despite being empty?
Thank you! Haven't played coaster so I am totally new to this buildingway. Is there a way to rotate an object in a sphere way without having to put it down first? Not just z-axle
yes, use the "z" key :)
@@RudiRennkamel that only gives me the "x" rotation. Sorry, workdamage, work with CNC
@@RudiRennkamel but thank you anyways!
How do you build raised paths? I couldn't find a shortcut in the game, but I might be a bit blind
Christina Klaus click and drag your mouse when placing the path. I think there’s a keyboard shortcut too but I typically just drag with the mouse.
Hold shift and drag your mouse
@@whisper_dvm5157 Thank you :) I think it bugged a bit when I tried. In my new Zoo it seems to be working
I love this
:)
Thank you!

Oh my god this is soo helpfull !
Building is this game is one of the most frustrating ways games have ever had building.
Try RCTW, Park Beyond, TPS, NoLimits2 and you'll find planet zoo easy again.
Tho I gotta admit it's not super intuitive
Please legend videos about how build... Brazillian like you
What about the multiselect Tool ¿
I wish I could use grid mode on non-grid mode pieces
How do you add windows though?!
How did you get so much miney?
Thumbs up
thanks you!
Nooo why did they limit the grid to only 90° again :(
Because it makes sense ;)
