Heres a trick to killing the tu-4, its a slow bomber. Lead your shots and dont just engage first chance you get if you can help it. Get some energy and try and snipe it from a distance. Or climb above it and rush it

Aim9b cannot lock the Tu-4 since it doesn't have a heat signature big enough since it's a prop. Only missile it can get hit by is the wire guided ones but that makes the shooter a sitting duck

264 is more comparable to B-17. Btw the best non- B29/Tu-4 bomber by payload are the Lancasters, Lincoln and Shackleton in the British tree, the Lancaster and Lincoln carry 16 000 lbs and Shackleton 15 000 lbs
