I'm happy to see the improvements from 3-gun finding their way into other shotguns. You may not like to game, but there's no faster way to load a tube fed shotgun than quad loading.
@@8541tactical it's a fair point. There are some systems with good retention, but they're not as fast. None are going to survive belly crawling through a forest, but that's not often required. Plenty will allow you to go prone and still be in place when you pop up. Looking forward to the video!
Good to see some semi auto shotguns with direct engineering for the Federal Flight Control shells. Just about every pump shotgun excells with Flight Control shells. It's the patented shell wadding that keeps the birdshot and buckshot together longer for more distance with a wide spread. The problem is trying to find Flight Control in any store or on-line. Flight Control shells are great. Just rare as frogs teeth. Last time I saw Flight Control in nearby stores was 2008. Federal needs to quit making that cheapo birdshot for a perceived market share. Start concentrating on Flight Control shells. Winchester could do the same with their PDX-12 shotgun shells. The PDX-12 has a one ounce slug with three 00-buck pellets. Also great for home defense. Fantastic for armed response units. Then there's Brenneke and Fiochi high performance slugs. Made with lead slugs with a high content of antimony. Only thing that's needed to be said is for Federal, Winchester, Brenneke and Fiochi to get with the program. Make more of what you guys do best.
Most of the “defensive” semi-auto 12ga. shotguns will cycle well with Federal Tactical 00 (Flight Control wad). The problem is actually that it patterns too well. Inside 15 yards it often patterns so tight, it’s like shooting a slug. In a home defense situation you will not get any dispersion. At work, we dropped buckshot and only run the Winchester PDX1 Slugs. I prefer having options, but few officers train well enough with the shotgun to “select slug” under stress.
How interesting!!!!!! RLEO out of California now in Tennessee. Always reached for the "FIGHTING SHOTGUN" when shooting could be involved not ever knowing the distances that could be involved that would call for more than 00? So you guys went slugs was a decision based on making it a better tool or the lack of skill with a basic tool of our trade? If it's the former, cool!!!!!!!!! If the latter, 😡
I didn’t get a very close look at them, but looking back at photos it appears that they are. It looks to be a simpler system than the sights on the 1301.
John, you always know where my heads at, asking about the fore end compatibility with my 1301. Keep kicking ass.
I like this shotgun

I just want to see someone come up with a qual loader that doesn’t yard-sale my shells under hard use. I am working on a shotgun-feeding video soon.

Glad to see you back at it brother! You're one of the few channels I don't get that sketchy peddler vibe from.
Thanks. I try to only accept advertisers/sponsors that I feel you guys will get value from. You won’t see me pushing Franklin mint commemoratives 😂
Great knowledgeable interviewer
Did Jessica Hook take part in the development of A300 Ultima Patrol like JM did for 940?
Great to see you in videos again, John! Do you have any plans for more 308 cartridge/rifle videos?
Absolutely. I am actually considering .308 or .223 to compete this year.
If the checkering is anything like that on the 92x grips, it's excellent. Very grippy, but easily sanded of it's too aggressive for you.
So how about the opposite? This handguard won't fit on 1301s but will 1301 handguards fit this?

Yep
Are the sights adjustable they look fixed
Nice observation! Had to look again. I think you're right, but definitely would like to know from someone who knows for sure.
