    I screen print as a hobby, and it's really fascinating. Eventually I will try to print onto T-shirts, bandannas, or other things that use fabric that I can lay flat when printing. I screen print on balloons since I like balloons a lot. I cannot afford the nice balloon screen printing equipment that most hobbyists use, so I made my own balloon printing equipment out of wood, 3/8 inch threaded rod, nuts, washers, hinges for the printing screen wood frames, and stretch cables with hooks. It requires no power because it is operated by hand. This equipment does not look fancy, but will give you great results when used properly. I use the techniques on this video to make my screen printing frames. For printing on balloons, I use both 230 MESH and 300 MESH SCREENS for maximum detail. Balloon ink for latex balloons is probably thinner than some T-shirt inks, so it can easily pass through a 230, 270, or a 300 mesh screen. What size screen mesh do you use?

    magandang gabi sir. nung bata pa ako eh gusto gusto ko ang magsilkscreen kaso wala ako makuhanan ng idea paano gagawin. nung maging 40 y/o ako, naaksidente, naputuln ng paa, napapako sa bahay, noon ko napanood ang video mo na to. saka ako nakakuha ng idea & nabuhayan ng loob na kaya ko pala matutunan. may mga ginawa ako adjustment kasi di ko makuha ang process mo pero ang idea na nakuha ko sa video mo na to ang nagbukas ng pintuan sa akin sa silkscreen printing. maraming maraming salamat sayo. sa ngayon eh nakakailang projects na din. siguro di na din bababa sa 7k pcs ang natatakan ko. muli, maraming maraming salamat.

    Great video! I do screenprinting, mostly with prepackaged screens (EZ screen) -- although just bought a bucket of emulsion to give that a more serious try. Have you tried using transparencies? I am using the inkjet-compatible ones with great success. Also, I (on advice from other videos) re-expose the screen in sunlight after it is washed and dried and that hardens the screen nicely. Your white emulsion is great - the emulsions I can get are obnoxious colors. Your tees look fantastic! The dyes I have require heat-setting with an iron or heat-gun. Keep making videos, they are great.

    • @EasyVideos
      @EasyVideos  2 роки тому +1

      Yes I tried transparencies before but I would suggest ordinary paper for starters because it's cheaper, thanks for the suggestions and good luck :)

So this paint you use in this video will help me a lot with this problem. I'll try using it and make my shirt learning from your video. Great thanks from Vietnam.

    I have two question.
    1. How to clean the paint from mesh after painting is finished.?
    2. How to clear the artwork from mesh to use it for another design?

      I used Water and Foam to wash the screen after used.....you can use PHOTO EMULSION REMOVER (STRIPPER) if you want to Remove the Photo emulsion on Screen....or use BLEACH : ua-cam.com/video/zcG5T9uvLzA/v-deo.html

      Start by studying CMYK Printing, you need 4 screens each for the CMYK colors and CMYK inks...the process is a little similar with what I'm doing printing multi-color just more precise....

    And in terms of paper you used to print image to the screen, what kind of paper was that? Or you can just use whatever kind of paper?
