One important feature of Scout's manufacturing process you left out of your description is the hull stays in the mold while the deck to hull interface cures and until the foam sprayed into the hull has stabilized. This is a big deal because it avoids any affect these processes could have on the hulls shape. Most boat manufacturers pop the hull out of the mold before installing the deck and or foaming the hull.
