Incredible how ttar has basically everything, but gets held back so much by pupitar.
True damage, cc, shield, mobility, execute damage, defensive buffs, unite with Iframes upon activation, double activation moves.
It really COULD be strong, but pupitar is something else

@@ajay_vkumar the white damage, tyranitar gets access to it upon using ancient power, it ignores shields, and partially ignores the enemy defense stat

Ttar just doesn't feel worth grinding all those levels for by the time you get it so much has happened in the game that unless you make a HUGE impact in team fights its just not worth it

You have to try this build out. It got me to 1700 this season with Tyranitar. It's 6 brown, 6 white, and 2 purple. Positive stats are 100 hp, 5 atk, and 105 movement speed. There is no negative except 22 spc atk. I use x speed, Flaot stone, charging charm, and razor claw. I change out razor claw with curse bangle only if I need it. Give it a shot, and you'll see just how crazy Tyranitar can be.
I feel ya. Poor Ttar is honestly kind of not fun to play. Not really satisfying to play even when overleved. Sucks how long it takes to actually start doing anything.

Dark Pulse needs to be sped up. The attack has like a billion years for that short AoE. It truly does no favors unless combined with the also sluggish af Sand Tomb

I got dodrio recently and i am starting to understand why people hate it so much
It's fun but man sometimes I feel bad when you can bully hard the enemy team. There's a point when it stops being fun and at least I start feeling bad for the other team.
I'm a speedster main but lately I've been enjoying Comfey. When you jump from Pokémon to Pokémon and keep your team alive it feels so satisfying! And the risk of being 1 shot by almost everything feels quite thrilling. One wrong move and you are dead meat and that can kill your whole team. I am starting to see supports on another light to be honest!
@@gwagner1380 i understand how you feel, thats the same reason i dont like playing overpowered pokemon like the mewtwos. Yess i really like playing supports speacially sableye, it can help so much stunning enemies and running around
Dark Pulse/Sand Tomb is all I ever play on TTar. Being able to wave people back really helps keep them locked down and the aoe damage plus his sandstorm do a lot of constant chip. Sand Tomb also lets you clear walls and nets more effective control over dudes getting away from you than Ancient Power.

I barely play ttar anymore and the last time I played him was like 2 months ago mostly because he’s so hard to evolve during the first 5 mins of the game. And also you have hope the enemy doesn’t go long ranged and if they do then you have zero chance of winning 😅
I think sand tomb dark pulse is the only way to go if you are good at it. Atleast you get some mobility.. Overall i just wouldnt play Tyranitar tbh..

Chris run all defensive items. Focus band weakness policy, rocky helm. 6 white 2 blue 2 purple 2 brown.
You will survive longer, proc both helm and weakness which gives you plenty of damage and longer alive = longer to deal more damage

The problem with some melee attackers is that they don't even have a draining kiss comfey and there are other better healers so really I don't see much of a issue because they have lifesteal or other ways of healing themselves

I use Unite, then Use Ancient Power to stun them while using Dark Pulse, I just love playing tyranitar all the time but it's very difficult especially if the enemies team kept running all the time

Pupitar needs a buff
Run lane first instead of middle. Early knockouts as larvitar helps a lot. Rotate mid later for more xp. Need float stone for extra speed helps when being kite'd, sand tomb is better mobility than ancientpower(the slow down for enemies is nice too). Unite move allows you to solo regis and raquaza very fast. Stone edge has better farming damage than dark pulse. I think hes more of a defending support all-rounder, rather than an a straight attacker. T-tar isn't close to A tier. But everyone plays him wrong by taking advice from the unite-db website. In my opinion. And yes pupitar needs reworked.

I only ever use sand tomb for that very reason
I prefer sand tomb over ancient power, because of the surprise dive of Sand tomb, and its heavy area denial. I think there are more counterplay against ancientpower.
Def agree. The fact that it has bigger aoe, good mobility, aoe slow and pull potential (both of this are the huge thing considering people are complaining about how walking counter ttar) already made it better than ancient power imo. Ancient power felt to clunky and way too kiteable bcs you have to run straight to the opponent and making ur move too obvious

Very few all rounders are capable of chasing objectives or rivals. I think you should play based on the fact that you are a wall to overcome than a crude speedster attempt.
All rounders: you are not fast but you are strong and resistant

That's actually the problem with so many people who pick him up. They play him as a wall or a defender with damage, and they get circles ran around them and picked. That's not where Tyranitar shines. Tyranitar is best with mobility, and he isn't a Frontline. He's best when he dives enemy backlines. He is THE BEST pokemon at it, too.

Every Pokemon is balanced now except clefeable . It's healing the whole team too much . Other supporter well balanced.
Lol! Meanwhile you get level 9 on evolve into ttar, the enemy team is already level 11 because they had an insane Glacion jungler or Blaziken jungler who just snowballed the game. You know you were lucky the dodrio just someone else did not started invading your jungle. I played a game recently where I was ttar jungler, and a cringe dodrio with exp share comfy kept invading my jungle, my lane were no good either, we ended up to surrender because 5-6 mins passes I just cannot get level 9. Since then I decided never to play ttar, atleast not in the jungle, even in lane its just grieving, but still, the level evolutions is just so unfairly distributed, and all eevees becomes insanely powerful after level 5, there is no way for poor pupitar to have a match against dodrios and eevees A. they have good mobility and range, and B. they are powerful really early. All 3 stage evolutions should evolve at 7.

Tyranitar is the god of unite. It can take out and tank any other mon. People are just nabs with Ttar. That's all there is to it. Cris is good with all pokemon in unite 💯

Yeah..... if you enemies are standing right next to you the entire match and if they don't know how to kite or dodge then ttar is easily top 5 allrounders. Try tanking an glaceon.

Mostly only with comfey and mime. And maybe blissey unite. But comfey helps it a lot in catching up to enemies.

I think ttar is a very intresting character but for bien so slow and bulky its not that tanky or even that it does not deal that much dmg true dmg is nice but still not recommended
