Great video and a cracking bass. I agree about the value of notes, I use a spreadsheet with columns for all the different aspects of each session including tides, weather, sea state, lures that caught, etc. The benefit is how visual it is to quickly compare sessions or search for similar conditions and what worked then, etc.
Really really important about the moon phase and tides and how they impact the fishing... I think a lot of anglers forget about that and just think about the tides.. I know I'm guilty of it just because of the excitement of getting a lure in the water but it just shows how paying attention to the details really makes a big difference... Nice video Sam keep them coming bud
Lovely stuff! The moon was amazing for last nights session here in Brighton, deep red, in and out of pitch black clouds sat just on the horizon. Just incredible.
Nice. I also keep a diary on my computer on spreadsheets going back to 2012 . I always check the moon phase each session and new moons are also my favorite times. Last week I was out for three consecutive nights and nailed 10 bass biggest 60cm . I like your videos, very informative and you explain things very well . Keep them coming.
@@BeneathTheWavesFishingJersey no I doesn't but I wouldn't pay that for a rod. I have a 7-35g rod, paid roughly £60 and it's great. It does what's needed. I'd be gutted snapping, scraping or damaging a rod in that price range.
@@anthonycoyne6745 I have a few sub 100 rods myself. Actually bought one yesterday a penn, 10-30g 7ft for the yak and some float fishing stuff. I’ve got nothing against them rods. But for bass fishing these rods tick all the boxes 👊

£600+ for a 8-35g rod.🤯 I think you have more money than sense 😐
@@anthonycoyne6745 mine wasn’t 600 🤯 but everyone is different. I’ve snapped a couple too. (Human error) if that makes you feel better

I imagine he doesn’t care about what you paid for your rod, nor what you think about his. Why are you even commenting?
