Hey Rusty, been following your channel for 8 years or so and always enjoy your stories. One thing that hit me a couple videos back is that when you read the stories sent in to you from your subs, the eloquent, descriptive wording and writing style of every story appear to all be strikingly similar. Fewer people nowadays write that way, so to have them all sound so similar in style is interesting. Either way, I thoroughly enjoy them all regardless of whether the stories are well-written fiction or actual events. 😉
I think people just submit the basic outline of their stories, and Rusty then rewrites them to fill them out so they flow better when he reads them on his channel. He doesn't make the stories up, but essentially edits them.
Stories that are too polished and over descriptive are safe to say are fiction. Still entertaining, and I love this channel. For more raw encounters that are all non fiction check out "Beyond Creepy".
It's Chat GPT. It always pumps out stories in the same overly descriptive style with way too many adjectives. Either people are using it and sending them to him claiming they're real or Rusty is using ChatGPT to write them.

I have always wondered why I could never understand words being sung with music while others sang along word for word. I can not understand words spoken with music either. It sucks.
Happy New Year Rusty. The stories you told and, in the past, does not surprise me at all. Many cannot not understand or cannot grasp the strangeness but there is an explanation. Many who have had paranormal encounters and that kind of stuff understand. Those are the folks who may not look into it further and on the other hand many may want more. The ones who do not understand may look more into and get a chilling feel. I truly believe that the spirits that we all cannot see have the upper hand. They can do and say anything they have the control and sometimes they can enjoy scaring the daylights out of us. I do enjoy your stories though, so, stat safe, warm/cool, and blessings.
Hoping the snow doesn't pass us by here in southern Illinois, my son's have been anxiously waiting for the past two years to go sledding (pulled behind the 4 wheeler in one of my old kayaks) or our version of sledding at least, there aren't many hills here in this part of the state but we manage. My family and i had an odd hitchhiker experience in the 90s. We'd pass him standing there with his thumb out, and not long after a car would pass us and he'd be in the backseat looking at us. I remember him having this sullen pale look about him. That happened at least a couple times until the car he was in turned off into a camping area. Later, during the night, we almost hit a moose and her calf. Not sure what that would've done if we did, the car was an old ford station wagon that ran on propane. These two events are probably unrelated lol weird day i guess
I wonder if the cars knew the hitchhiker was in the back seat, lol was he a ghost. My ex had an uncle who looked in his rear view mirror while driving one night to see a woman sitting in his back seat.
I dont know Rusty...a couple of the stories sounded like people trying a little too hard to impress others with their stories like those fake scary stories on that other channel Creepy pasta. But the last one had me wondering if some kind of secret project program was conducting experiments on transporting something via some new technology? not so much paranormal. Well the story about being in Alaska and finding mountain lion furs and elk? Not sure about that. According to Alaska fish and wild life mountain lions are rare and mostly very south near British Columbia. And elk are very few and mostly in British Columbia. None of those are native to Alaska.
