There is an easy solution....VIPs make 10 percent and commoners make 90 percent. So take the 90 and go kick the 10....simple. If you can't do that.....don't complain.....can't help cowards.

What happened was absolutely wrong. There is another way out of it. The customs office cannot force anyone to pay the customs duty. When you refuse to pay it, the product goes back to the customs office and is sold at auction. That's better because you can actually get a full refund from the bought website after declaring that product did not reach you. Do it this way. If the customs duty fees is more than the item, just refuse to pay and let them take it back. Later get a full refund

Customs never charges on declared invoice value rather they charge on PMV which is present market value Normally importers have a tendency to get a lower value declared so that they are charged as little as possible in duties but customs officials are not fools... You have not desclosed what product did you import but anyways it is absolutely customs rule to charge on fair market value and not to trust the invoice because if they start trusting the invoice then some people will import iphone claiming that invoice declared value is 50 $ But its government rule. Even If you challenge the customs,I am dead sure that your product is not available in our indian market for $3 so you will loose the case Next time,you can ask the exporter to mark in big bold letters on the outer package “Free trade sample,not for sale” along with the invoice Then there is a slight chance that you might get away with a lower duty but at the end of the day these officers at customs are highly educated they see lacs of such packages on daily basis. They don’t have enemity against you so please do not make such videos if you don’t have full knowledge about import procedure. If these scavengers cant get bribe then they will start harassing people. These thief's think all are like them. PM wants to increase talent pool in India and with these types of Jurassic rules I dont see India getting anywhere. The current rules only favor big industrialists and not common people. What is the product? You have not mentioned it. If it is a 2TB harddrive and the seller sends it with 3$ price to escape duties, it is not possible. Customs will open it and check the item's price online and then charge customs on it according to the MRP. Chutiya mat samjo customs ko :D

Main monthly 2-3 purchase karta hu aliexpress se aur mujhe 4000 ke upar customs dena padhta Hai... Ye 3$ ke liye 900+ rs de dega?? 😒😒😒

Bhai Mene AliExpress se 70rs Ka charger order Kiya tha with free shipping . 3 months ke bad BHI delivery nehi Aaya customs hold I think. Only 1$ Ka charger pe itna chutiyappa kiu karte Hain e log.
