- I'm a 23 year old, recent graduate working at a high growth startup! Though I work remotely full time out of Houston, I visit the San Francisco office every 2-3 months. Today, I walk you through a day in my life in the office. You'll see my usual day-to-day routine working in person, from coding and debugging sessions to casual hangouts and lunches with coworkers. I'm a 44 year old bodybuilder with some injuries. I noticed your deltoid raises and wanted to help you avoid injury. The range you want to stay in is the range you can comfortably slowly raise a light weight to in slow motion (you are going too high). Please don't add leg/back or trap shrug to bring it higher. It is also safer for your forearm joints to use a heavy weight and have the elbows bent.
I personally will advise you stick to pullups/rows and pushups for all deltoid work.
I know you probably have seen the excercise done by others, but it is a bad practice that needs to be corrected for all future generations. Good luck!
he's going too high and ive read that side delt should be limited to about 20lbs. ive lifted for two decades now and i dont ever go heavy on it, and ive fucked up my delts doing upright rows w smith machine - DONT EVER DO THAT EXERCISE kids.

So much realistic, unlike others displaying only aspects other than coding like perks, hanging out, food, you also displayed those things but you also pointed the work part equally (the way we are living like as software engineer we have perks and benefits but also we have stressful and important work), so great 👍, keep it up man 📈🤟

I somehow get the feeling that Software Engineer jobs especially in USA are quite more open und the workers are pretty much free to utilize the time. Here in Germany I mostly see 9 to 5 jobs (where I am also currently working)
yah your benefits better vacation is the best. I always hear call a German about work when they're on vacation it'll b a month later. We don't know how to let work go and barely see ppl take vacation at a month's time.

I love your content. What a very nice routine and balanced workday! I use to live in downtown San Fran when I went to college. It’s sooo beautiful out there! I am in my full stack software engineering cohort right now and I’ve been having so much fun! I can’t wait to start a career after this is over. It’s like the first time in a while that I’ve been able to sit down & create in a long time. Even to the point where I lose track of time.

i think nowadays what degree/course only matters if you’re trying to go to graduate school or work in research - for industry, I would focus on personal projects and internships

@@namanhkapur Great bro!! I'm living in Sao Paulo. I'm struggling to find a job, I have some programming skills but I never worked as a programmer before, and I don't have any certification yet. What can I do? How do I start? There are so many options, so many different languages and every job listing have an overwhelming amount of requirements like database, different frameworks, languages. What could be the simplest and basic study path to get an ordinary job as a programmer, so I can go step by step until I get a higher payment job? Thanks man! (UA-cam recommended your channel and I'm not disappointed 😂)
