Good fix. But my rear hatch door button is intermittent. I have to push a few times and then it works. I saw a fix for the mechanism behind the button that I am going to try.
Thanks for watching! Are you talking about on the opposite side from the locking part? I think I saw a video about that. Try looking under Dutch door latches. You may be able to fix it if you remove the inner panel.
I see that the lift lock switch is worn out and needs to be replaced by so much pressing and they burn out easily in the inside by any short you get from anything! It's an expensive part and hard to find.

For me what keeps happening is one side will unlatch and the other stays locked. But thanks for helpful hint

Try Amazon? I got a fuel pump for a great price there! They go by your VIN so you don't get the wrong part.
You can disassemble the lock/switch assembly and clean up the contacts.
