+RailfanJunction Cool! I live in downtown SM so every once in awhile I'll hear 'em. Next time You're in the area, try and catch one of the other three engines. Two 70-tonners and a GP9.
RailfanJunction No problem. With the 70-tonners, it may be hard to differentiate between number 70 and 80(as they're painted the same), 70 has a darker yellow coat of paint than 80, which is three years newer to it's sister engine.
your efforts in putting together these spectacular videos is very much appreciated.
I believe the freight 41:53 was the Leesdale Local. Always so cool to get two short toots!!!! Thanks for sharing!!!!
Guadalupe Hauler (LOF67)
Awesome Video
Cool Video. Thank You.

Former AT&SF Geep working the Coast Line
26:17 Does that crossing have gates? Can't really tell, but it looks like they're not down.
For whatever reason that crossing did not work. They had to flag it as the train went over.
What time do freight trains normally run through Santa Barbra?
Maine Railfan© UP abolished about 60% of freights on the coast that go through Santa Barbara. The freights that go through there is the occasional detours and the LOF67/66 Guadalupe Hauler..
Did you get to stop in Santa Maria and see the little shortline?
Yes, the footage with the ex-Santa Fe GP7u is of the Santa Maria Valley railroad.
