I love your videos!! I think you guys are awesome and I love the way you talk, very human and clear. Me and my partner are moving to a camper with our lovely son in two weeks, also one year ago I started my own company as a game developer and it had been crazy honestly but we are super happy and excited to start our new life on the road. Stay strong and positive even in hard times, I still think is much more worth it than a 9-17h work. Thanks a lot for the inspiration 🙏🏼💚

We have some things in common with you. Converted a 10m long city bus. Been on the road for two and half years. We have our own businesses. We are introverted. After a year and half we, too, bought a chunk of land. We are a bit older (forties.) My observations: 1. It is, in the end, a very expensive lifestyle. Yes, no mortgages or rents to pay, but that is eclipsed by the reserve you need to maintain for dealing with the realities of driving your house around. 2. It is very difficult to run a *profitable* business from the road. It’s difficult when stationary, much more so when your rolling house needs constant attention. 3. Addressing the vanlife/skoolie market needs is probably a bad idea, as the market is tiny. Yes, there are a lot of eyeballs, but there is little overlap between people that like to DIY and those that have budgets worth serving with a business. If they have money, they buy a Winnebago; if they don’t, it’s hard to address them profitably. We have come to the conclusion that it is much easier to be a “freelancer” on the road, rather than to run a business that can scale. All the best to you!!

It's great to hear your experiences and observations 🙂 Well see where our journey and market research will take us. We are still in the process of learning the fundamentals of marketing so we have some way to go.
The lifestyle at present is much cheaper than renting or a mortgage and we do value the freedom aspect quite a bit. The inevitable management of the house is alright, though it does depend on the season. We believe in optimizing the house/camper to work for us and not us for it, it will just take experience and design work 😅

Nice to see you making a fresh start. I’m just setting off on my bike in the dark and rain back to work. Never mind, I love what I do and I have fun which means so much and keep fit cycling to work, and I have my health so all’s good. It’s important to have things to look forward to so all the best with your plans for this year.

Your health and loving what you do are the key ingredients in tackling anything that comes at you 😊

    All that is all good.
    but what if you two
    were building or redesigning
a brand new Riverboat or even
a J type better yet a blue water
    Ocean crossing, smooth Sailing
A sixty four footer and taking
your in-laws on a sailing adventure,
    Whale sighting and Orca spotting.
    Question
    ,,,,,,( ' ?'//... what would
....//\ ( the boat look like
    (O))// \\ How many washroom
would you add if you had the
    Capacity,
with plenty of solar power on
board your little wifey can have
her own way on the Double Decker
    Boat, COULD IMAGINE traveling with
Goats. what would the Sea Lion think
if they found a big old large mountain
goat with very large horns on the deck
when they hop on for treat on your way
    out of the harbor.
