Love your videos this was a little better as the music was low and I could hear what you was saying. Was that a staple or nail gun that you was using to fix beading on. Keep up the good work I have learnt so much from you
Hello, thank you for watching and commenting... no plaster done on the inside to get hot from the wood burner... outside I have tested it and it doesn’t get hot... the company installed the wood burner used some insulation to prevent the heat to get there, and the plasterboard they’ve used inside is special heating resistance.
Sorry for late reply, you may already sort it, but yes, you can use multifinish to stick the beadings, even if I expect some now to comment and say it’s not possible, I did stick all beadings in a room with the same mix of multifinish I skimmed that wall I had beadings and it worked absolutely perfect… good luck 😁
Hi, it’s a pva, but a special one called Beton contakt… it has small bits of stones in it which makes it very rough, and plaster or rendering it sticks much better. Thanks for watching… goodluck 😁
Many thanks for posting this video. It helped me greatly.

Nice work mate 👍🏻
Well done for cutting the corners off.
Although I don't like the look of plaster next to a wood burner, the plaster will blow off when it gets too hot.

Nice vid mate! Can i use some left over multifinish to stick beading to plasterboard? Its literally two external corners about a meter long?

What type of staples do you use?
Hi, I used Stanley fat max staples…
Why not use drywall screws?
