At the end of PMQs, the deputy Labour leader raised a point of order, asking if Johnson 'would like to correct the record', after the prime minister denied saying fears about inflation were unfounded in an October interview with Sky News. Boris Johnson did not respond and did not correct the record.

True, my exact thoughts.

So basically Boris lies and nothing happens. What a joke
It's great isn't it!
They're all lying and reading from scripts.
Labour are doing the exact same
Labour doing the same? They are literally speaking the truth (on this occasion). Boris Johnson is a pathological liar who only cares about himself and others within his circle. He won an election, albeit with a large majority, on one issue: Brexit. That train has now left the station and he's being seen for what he really is; a liar, a poor leader and a opportunist political who bumbles his way from one day to the next.
The Conservatives have been lucky for about five years now that Labour haven't put forward clear policies, nor a realistic leader. Let's see how Kier Starmer does as Labour begins to bring out more centralist policies.
@@Badger7824
You mean tory lite policies, like Blair did, Blair the best leader the tories never had.
Why he isn't in prison and getting knighted instead just shows the torys love for him and how tory the queen really is.
Could literally count the entire intelligence of that house on one hand..
the mugs are the ones that vote for em
Honestly, you are trying to insult the Conservatives whilst listening to Angela Rayner and talking about intelligence. It actually beggars belief. Have a look in the mirror and take a look at yourself. If I didn’t know you mean that, I’d of thought it was satire.

It's all a game, it's all about strategy, nothing else
Pretty deadly game, killed 5 million so far, nearly killed my younger brother.
@@biggusdickkus2956 that's what the politics in the UK is becoming - the media feeds on it - it's not about content and actual discussion of policies but playing games and retoric. It's clear that Johnson is not suitable as a prime minister and he should be dismissed. However the system will not change which suggests the establishment is corrupt. Because the media conceptualises everything in terms of opinions instead of facts, no matter how much corruption there is , there will be some people pro and some against whatever pops up. So it's all a game (even though actual peoples lives are not a game)
I was expecting much more from grownups. What a joke.
@@biggusdickkus2956 It's extremely deadly because we are up against our enemies posing as world leaders looking out for our best interests.
I mean, can anyone see what's going on?
What about 25% and the rest on energy bills? Money grab plain and simple. Companies that provide what we deem "Vital" services should be run not for profit, same as transport. Take a look a the state of our trains and bus services across the island, appalling.
It is not plain and simple. The US sold the gas to China and South America because they were offering a higher price. The price goes up with there is a shortage. COP26 and all that razzmatazz has helped the shortage, as have campaigners and a ton of lies told about nuclear power. Those anti-frackers delayed exploitation of our own reserves so it had to be shipped over at greater cost. More lies. do the research.
the legacy of thatcher
@@dm32904 Actually Thatcher was right to shut the pits down because right now coal is one of the most expensive ways to generate electricity. Our biggest mistake was to lose our lead in nuclear power. The UK was the first in the world to commercialise it and made great progress, but for a lot of reasons it fell apart. Now we should invest in SMRs, which are capable of generating electricity at $85/MW, which is one of the cheapest in the industry, and certainly the cleanest for the price.
It is always a waste of time to watch this. Questions and quotes are thrown from one side to the other, and no questions get answered.

Did the speaker say that Borus doesn't need to correct his claim of inflation not rising despite Rayner providing documented evidence that Boris did say that about inflation? Am I correct Boris was let off?
Yes. Exactly that. Boris lied, the lady corrected him with evidence, the speaker said it wasn't a "point of order" and so the PM didn't need to address it, then as he stood to address it (no doubt with more lies, and a smirk to boot), the speaker told him to sit down.
