When I was a knitwear designer in New York City with a missy woman's company named Cullanaine we designed many sweaters with all kinds of embroidery especially beautiful ribbon embroidery like yours. I would match the ribbons to the fabric colors.
I love this video! It reminds me of how simple it is to do these! I am getting married this year and can see myself embroidering these flowers in washes of white ribbon on white. Maybe I will tea dye, vegetable and coffee dye them first? Today I am making a fancy dog purse in recycled blue jeans for my business Decadent Digs. You just inspired me to take my collected selvages of other fabrics and use them to create cool flowers like these! THANK YOU!!!!
