@@justdatboie I know I'm really late but listening to the album with spiteful chant on it is amazing and so many people didnt have this cuz the sample wasnt cleared, also I really love how you interpret kendrick's music
Aaliyah is a popular R&B singer, model, and actress, from the 90s and early 2000s she’s named the princess of R&B and Queen of urban pop. She’s credited for redefining contemporary R&B and Hip hop she’s also known as a Fashion icon she’s inspired so many Artists with her music and style including Kendrick drake , J cole Beyoncé Rihanna sza she had praise from all the legends like Whitney Houston Janet Jackson the she also inspired the weekend her peers Brandy and Monica Ciara Alicia keys Normani Chole &Halle Tink Michael Jackson enjoyed her music etc she tragically passed away in a plane crash in 2001 at the age of 22 . She would be a huge star if she was alive She was so beautiful inside and out check her out she’s truly an icon that was ahead of her time that is missed . Some of her popular songs one in a million , rock the boat , try again , are you that somebody , back and forth , 4 page letter that Kendrick had sampled
I grew up in Compton during the crack epidemic. Both my parents were victims of it. Most of my friends parents were affected as well. It was a really…really rough time. Literally having to wonder where your next meal was gonna come from. Having your parents steal from you. Not having clean clothes for school. Being left alone at all hours so your parent can go get their fix. Finding crack pipes. Not having a Christmas or birthday. I could go on. It was very bad. It led to many of us turning to the streets.
"this should be a top 10 song in everyone's..." your quote after hearing the spiteful chant really made me smile. bro welcome!! cartoons & cereal also in that list!!
From Kendrick and reviewers, "Lamar has stated that he created the album to discuss his generation. Lamar dwells on a variety of subjects, such as the crack epidemic occurred in the 80s and Ronald Reagan." From the album, Section.80 is a concept album that involves the lives of Tammy and Keisha as it explains the personal hardships in their lives. "Tammy's Song (Her Evils)" revolves around two girls cheating on their boyfriends after discovering they were unfaithful, and eventually sleeping with each other because they can't trust men; "Keisha's Song (Her Pain)" is about a prostitute who seeks comfort and control, only to her demise.
Ran across your work just last night. Had surgery this morning, 1st thing I listened to was one of your reactions. Last thing I listened to before surgery. 1st thing I listened to after anesthesia wore off, one of your reactions.... keep up the nice work. Easily one of my favorite UA-cam Reactors.
Thank you so much! I hope everything is well and you make a speedy recovery. I’m glad I’m able to help someone through rough times by sharing the love of music💪🏾
You're going to end up running through this entire album over and over. I highly suggest you check out Overly Dedicated next. Absolutely beautiful album with a great concept.

When he said their age says they are crack babies hes referring to the crack epidemic of the late 80s. It was so prevalent in some communities that anyone born in those areas around those years were most likely introduced to crack as a fetus. It's a bit of an over exaggeration but thats what hes trying to convey.
Bro I was watching again and realized you pointed it out. When I slid back in that day I guess I skipped ahead on accident. My bad I hate when people do this shit too lmao
Thanks for your insight and the backstory on the tops of this album, man. I’ll definitely continue this journey and hopefully there are others who enjoy this just as much as I am. Thanks for the kind words
Hol' Up - I interpreted the nappy hair part as Kendrick knowing it's nappy but the stewardess is complimenting him to flirt. So the following lines are him thinking about trying to sleep with her

Serious question, are you familiar with the singer, Aaliyah who sang the song "4 page letter" and who died in a tragic airplane crash a little over 2 weeks before 09/11 in 2001?
@@justdatboie Real Talk, do yourself a huge favor and listen to Aaliyah. She was special. Especially her One In A Million Album. Also listen to her debut, Age Aint Nothing But a Number and her last, self-titled album, Aaliyah. You will not be disappointed. She worked with some of the top producers incl. RKelly, Timbaland, Missy Elliott. And she was gorgeous. Keep up the good work on the video reactions. I'm gonna subscribe and support.
