- Alcohol ink pendants are probably one of my favourite things to make as they are all unique. In my last video, I shoqwed you how to make alcohol ink pendants using pendant trays (also called bezels).
In this tutorial, I am showing you how to make alcohol ink pendants without pendant trays because not everyone has them or can get them. And if you don't have the chipboard needed for this, you could use several layers of cereal box card glued together, as I have showed in previous videos.
Alcohol ink pendants that are quick to make are brilliant for crafters wanting to sell their work at craft fairs or online. Any method that allows you to make lots of stock quickly is cost effective.
For those wanting to make alcohol ink pendants but who maybe haven't got access to any, I am giving away a free printable of the painting I create in this video. Obviously it isn't quite the same as having the alcohol ink painting itself but at least you will have the design. You will have to print it onto really good quality paper and cut your shapes out of that to stick on your chipboard pendant shapes.
You can get the free printable link over at www.funcraftst...

Hi Gilly. Beautiful art as always. When you say "chip board" I assume you mean what we call card board, like cereal box card board ? Here in Australia chip board is a type of wood made from chips of wood all mushed up then glued together, but you wouldn't be able to cut it with scissors.
Hello again Ally, yes, you are quite right, it’s the same in the U.K. - chipboard is a very different thing here and no you wouldn’t be able to cut it with scissors. I addressed the difference briefly in my most recent video but most of my viewers are in the USA and I tend to use the terminology that USA crafters use when it comes to supplies. I had no idea that Australia has the same meaning for chipboard that we do. If you were to use cereal box card (which I much prefer but is very time consuming at a time when I have to balance my caring role with my work), you’d need to glue together several layers of it to get the thickness and rigidity. But it’s cheaper of course and much more environmentally friendly to use discarded resources where possible. Thanks as always for your much appreciated support. 🙏😍
