    Excellent job my friend...One of the first things I do when I get a new bike is remove the baffles, if I don't like it then I can always proceed with after market slip ons. Often times I am very satisfied with stock muffler less baffle. Loud pipe saves lives.

    Good night. Did this cover with the logo of the rear wheel axle come from the factory or do you have it to buy out there friend?

    Very informative and helpful! I appreciate that you listed every tool and sizing, too, down to the rivets. Did you manage to drill a hole to replace it if you wanted to? And how easy is that to do?

      Thank you! I can’t remember exactly what size, I just remembered buying a mixed pack of stainless steel rivets and some of them matched up nicely… they don’t need to be very deep!

    I’m curious. Do you regretting pulling the baffle out? I’ve had my explorer with Aaron exhaust since 2015 and have thought about doing this often, wish it was a little louder!

      No I don’t regret it… but I did drill a hole afterwards through the tips so I could put it back in with a screw for security when I do track days or if it was too loud. I normally use the bike with it out and even my partner doesn’t think it’s too loud on the longer trips.

    Boa tarde, tem como fazer isso com o escapamento original?

    • @watzitproductions5459
      @watzitproductions5459  Рік тому +2

      Olá, com o modelo XCA o escape Arrow é padrão. Eu suponho que você quer dizer o escapamento fornecido com os modelos básicos? Se sim, não sei, desculpe.

    Impossible to remove the carbonend after I removed the rivets. Any tips?

      Did you use a punch to push through the rivets after drilling the head off them?

      @@watzitproductions5459 Yes and it sits like a mountain still. wonder if it is not also glued?

      @@johanarkinger2026 I know dirt can get between the carbon tip and the stainless steel exhaust, it could just be really tight. Try spraying a proper penetrating oil between the two from the opening end, not down the actual exhaust but there is a gap, try and keep it vertical and it should soak down into the join. It might also need to flex or twist a little bit to break the seal…

    Why would a person even want to remove the baffle in the first place? I can assure you that you would most likely see a performance decrease and in the unlikely event there was actually a slight increase it would be so insignificant that it would not warrant putting up with all that noise as a side effect. So the question remains, why on earth would logically you do it??
