This is beyond Wonderful,,lived in Edgewater 1996-1999 best time of a life time!!! River Road looks a lot different however still the same!! Jersey was good to me!! A lot of great experiences.....Edgewater was a Safe Heaven for me coming from Jamaica Queens in the 90s. I’m a Floridian Now😂.
Wow how it's changed! I drove that every day to and from work over 40 years ago. It was desolate, undeveloped, with old abandoned factories on the riverfront. You could see all of Manhattan while driving.
@@NYBestDJ Some movie buffs are fascinated to go try to find/seek the exact locations where the movie company filmed their movie, and in the process film their voyage of discovery..... One online guy, a big fan of SMOKEY AND THE BANDIT went looking, 20 years later, for these film locations, in the backwoods of Georgia, and ended up bemused and tangled up in blackberry runners, the site was that disused, dilapidated, and overgrown... :)
You should have had someone in the passenger seat, so they can get everything with a camera holder. You driving to fast. Can’t catch the names of the new apartments , restaurants nothing. U driving to fast. Typical heavy foot New Yorker🤦🏽♀️🤣
Looks fast when watching but I’m actually going under the speed limit as slow as possible trying not to piss off the drivers behind me lol if you look you’ll see everyone passing me doing the speed limit. I often get people blowing the horn for driving too slow 😬 if you want slower you’ll have to watch a walking tour video of Edgewater. 🫡 thanks for watching
I left NY for FL very recently. If NJ taxes weren’t as severe. I would have loved to have lived in Edgewater to get the best of NY but not deal with its issues. It’s beautiful there. And I love Mitsuwa being so close by! 🥹

So nice to see this, we lived in Fort Lee before the pandemic and drove on this road many many times. 👍

Yes, Edgewater & Weehawken are nice places with a lot of new developments and only a bridge drive away from NYC👍
