"Didn't want to work today". "Maybe...Hopefully....Sorta"...! I don't know about anyone else, but I found those moments amusing. Anyway that's a cool tool. You must be a valuable asset to the drilling guys. Everything they do is trying to rip their machinery to bits up from day one. Kinda like rock crushers! Cheers

Listening to "Maybe, kindda, hopefully". I had a wry smile, thinking, I'll bet its been a long time since you had to repair some of you're own repair work. 👍👍

Its pretty easy actually. The other side is conplete so you just make a mirrored copy of it. The hardest part is the out of position welding and that's not even really hard if you know how to do it.

Belling increases the bearing surface of the pier. Piers are supported by the bearing surface and the skin friction on the sides of the pier. They are commonly used in southeast Texas (Houston area, USA) where soils have a low load bearing capacity. Among other uses, they are often placed under traditional grade beams to support traditioal concrete slab construction.

Adapting to a plasma torch when you are use to oxy/act, is a challenge but worth the effort. I see you cutting with your welding shield whichI found too dark. I use the grind function on an auto darkening shield or regular cutting goggles and have never experienced any eye problems. I wish I had a higher amperage plasma cutter but don’t do enough heavy work anymore to justify one. I can cut 3/8 but 1/4 is the comfort zone. I pay a penalty now for my bottle rentals because I don’t use enough gas. I do like your aluminum cutting guides
