A little brash; he also paused such that he would stop the flow of the piece. Usually not a problem unless it's done mid-phrase, which it was several times throughout the performance. That said, he successfully carried a lot of power and emotion. He also was very accurate, clear, and dynamically consistent. Overall a good performance.
