I noticed tyre temps were all over the place during this race. Do any of you guys change the tyre pressure depending on the track/weather/etc.? I've never looked into the details of setting that up until now. Any tips or advice?
I've noticed the same phenomenon during race when I increased the tyre pressures in order to gain some speed in the straights,so I've stopped racing with high tyre pressures and no more overheating problem.My tip is if you want some extra speed in the straights then you ought to decrease the downforce,but that might make the first stint a little bit tricky as your car has approximately 100kgs of fuel in it,so best is if you ask for less downforce during your first stop in case you need that little topspeed advantage
I lower the rear pressure when the track has some stop/full gas corners like Germany, Canada...I this cases especially I lower also the rear stiffness I never imagined that you didn’t personalize your setups, it is a surprise for me! You just use default settings?? I’m amazed!! that means you have huge margin of improvement!!!⚡️⚡️⚡️
if only it were such a Ferrari advantage next year. More than 2 wins, Ferrari 1-2 finish. it's good to watch these videos because you don't have to wait for the miracle here
I was watching this and about the same time that Magnussen started slowing down I thought a safety car would be perfect for you and then low and behold out comes the safety car, bit of a cautious first couple of laps but a great win
