You hit the nail on the head! There’s SO much new “stuff,” constantly flooding the card-making market & it gets where you run out of space & have to purge your less used items to make room for the new “must haves.” I have to ground myself from watching my fave cardmakers’ intros to the new releases because l can’t resist. You do a great job with lots of new ideas that work beautifully with existing supplies. I’m glad you got yourself the metallic watercolors, you SO deserve them & l’m sure we’ll also benefit from the ideas you’ll come up with! 👏🏻👏🏻👍🏼🙏🏻💖 Love how your card turned out!

I have some metallic wc,but wasnt keen on the pigment,so i may well look at this set,those colours are very vibrant.Stunning card xx
Lovely cards as always, with your golden touch! I only have gold, silver & bronze metallics but have experimented and you CAN tint them with small amounts of normal watercolours so if you have a similar limited palette remember Natasha's motto: Use what you have, or you'll end up with several duplicates. Just mix the metallic to the right consistency, move what you need onto the palette with your brush and then add a little of the secondary colour being careful not to add more than a touch of water to the mix.
I have been wondering about metallic water colors and which to get. I like that you do the research for me and I can just trust your recommendations. You haven't disappointed me yet!

Simply gorgeous. I think I have some similar water-colour paints and an appropriate stamp or two. The colours are great, too...but I think I'll do a dark blue/navy background. That's what I'm feeling. AND, I don't want to be a 100% copycat. :-)

Beautiful card - I got these watercolours after much research and have found them to be fantastic. Getting black watercolour paper in NZ is impossible though, but I found a large sheet of black fabriano heavy drawing paper that works well instead. Love your technique, I’ve watched every video I can find on metallic watercolour and as usual your demo is inspiring. and unique.

I get my black watercolour paper from tas...in Auckland...they moved from Takapuna but do online orders. Hope that helps you.

I've had these paints for quite awhile and kept looking for a cheap black watercolour paper, which I didn't find. I was then wondering how they would work on black cardstock and here you are doing it.
