Please do review on Guerlain fragrances such as Insolence and Shalimar. Special request. Thank you

Ah Shalimar...created with being the first oriental fragrance back in the 1920s ...it’s still a classic. Guerlain is an interesting house because it’s got so much history. Unfortunately we can’t do a whole video on it ...because we work for a uk distributor (KGA) we are only contracted to make videos about the fragrances that we directly work with and train on. Sorry about that.

Hi ladies great video as always. I am currently a teacher and have previously sold perfume in department stores. I would absolutely love to change career and enter the fragrance industry, however I find it is very difficult to find out about possible opportunities. Do you have any advice for someone like me on where to look for vacancies and how to approach a career change? Many fragrant thanks 😊 🌸 x

Sometimes the easiest way in is to get a sales job for the busy Christmas period and then you start to get to know the various people involved. Are you in the Uk? You could try an agency in London or another large city, which might specialise in providing staff for perfume counters. Sometimes it’s worth chatting to the counter managers within perfumeries or dept stores as they often look for temp staff to hire direct. In terms of other careers in head office or area sales work you could try networking on linked in or search in the careers sections of the big beauty companies’ websites. Good luck 👍

The Perfume Pros Hi again. Thank you so much for your reply!!! Yes I’m in the UK.Unfortunately I wouldn’t be able to give up my teaching career as I’m full time to temp or work on counters although I would love to! So it would be more of a head office/distributer or graduate job I would be Interested in. Are there any particular companies you would recommend looking at through linked in or approaching online as I really wouldn’t have a clue where to start x

Hi Perfume Mummy! You might try searching on the websites of some of the beauty Industry companies like L’Oreal, Coty, Lauder, Puig, KGA, Aspects or individual brands like Dior, or even some of the smaller niche brands. Make friends with your local perfume sales people and ask them to let you know if they hear of any job opportunities. Word of mouth is often the best way in with new careers!

Hello there!! I am wondering if you could explain or describe pertruli and bergamot scents? I have recently got into fragrances and perfumes. Sorry not sure how to spell pertruli ;) I love your channel!!! Please please!!

Hi and thanks for watching. 😀 We will have to do a citrus video including Bergamot! It’s a great ingredient and is found in a lot of perfumes. It’s famed for being a good balance between sweet and sharp. Patchouli is in the family of woody ingredients but is actually a leaf. Often it smells dry, earthy and brings depth to a scent.
