Hey Amos, Thought ya knew, I am 66yrs of young, with disabilities that prevents me from doing what you are doing! Very limited income living in California, and trying to survive in the very County I was born! I'm also NA, and just getting bye. I 🥰 what you do, and usually comment on all of your vids to show you love and respect for what you bring to everyone, and the Survival part of your teachings, is Top Notch!, Butt you exude ever so much... "IS", The Nature, & Understanding of it, and the 💖 it gives back us all!,, very powerful, and impactful! Rugged, yet very special, and inspirational for so many! I Feel ya, I dig it, always want more, just because of your Spirit of it! You always have my support in comments! I watch on the U-Tube, and that's what I get to experience with you, and Ovens. (How I found you)! Love it all with your own channel, Thanks for always bringing me on all you're Adventures! So much Appreciated! Feels like a mini'vacation for me, and followers! As always GBU.,SM.,NZ.,✌💖😁👍👏👌🤗🤙😉
You couldn't pick a better person than Amós to be bushcrafting with, always has a positive attitude and knows how to catch most of the fish. One of my new favorite people to watch on UA-cam.
Im really enjoying this series. So glad you joined Greg on this one so we all could get to meet you on youtube! Great fisherman and survivalist! I really love the chair you made
Wow! The skill Amos displays in crafting his bow, string and arrows. The patients it takes to shape the bow through heating and carving small amounts of wood at a time. Even down to braiding string to ensure power and durability when harvesting prey. It’s great watching them all create shelters, furniture, traps, hunting tools harvesting game, identifying and eating wild plants and berries all out of the resources that nature has provided for them. Very resourceful, informative and entertaining. Great stuff to watch!
Man Amos, I watch Greg's videos all the time and decided to check yours out for the first time. You are such a beautiful man, I love your energy man. Keep it up! :)
Greg your awesome! I've seen you do some of your own survival challenges alone ECT and you always impress me with your ingenuity. Amos your drive to keep going and have fun, never complaining is a perfect balance to Greg's attention to detail.
Amos, I don’t think there’s many survivalists that could build a bow in the wild from scratch. Now, when you make straight arrows with no fancy tools, that will be icing on the cake. Keep at it, we enjoy your adventures with Greg
Hey Amos, What a great friend you are for sticking with your pardner man. Sometimes these things happen out in the wilderness. It's about team work, survival, patience, and Love of nature. Always remember SHT HAPPENS... No matter what you do or where you go. God Bless you both! We all feel for you. Get better, move on, and, finish the adventure with the satisfaction that you accomplished so much within that time. Another memory of your life! Wonderful! GBU.,SM.,NZ., ✌❤😁😚🤗
I put a comment to Greg.. you can't have tension on your line when you're pulling seaweed off the hooks it slips and gets in your fingers.. anyway I'm glad Greg's all right and you're all right and Finley's all right.. keep doing what you're doing God bless you all.. also this be safe
I really hope you catch a good meal for you guys with that bow! Making a bow takes alot of skill & patience in the best of conditions with more tools & workspace. What you have done with simple tools on the beach is a great accomplishment in its self !! Keep up the great work 👍
I like it when you and Zach collaborated ! You guys built some awesome platforms campsites bushcraft excellence! I think Amos is really cool guy very upbeat , always positive ! I think Amos is a good man very skilled in bushcraft!
Amos love your content that 🏹 is looking Awesome 👍 can't wait to see you use it just don't let Greg get ahold of it Greg saying hey Amos I got a arrow thur my 🦶 it's bad lol just kidding but at least he did catch something himself 😂🤣 just having fun hope you don't get mad at me I like both of you enjoy both of your channels see you on the next one glad you're there to take care of Greg have a good weekend buddy
Well done for your happyness , calm and peace when dealing with our great ovens injury 👍🏼💪🏼 I discovered you thanks to Craig channel. I am now a subscriber of yours and well you are an absolute legend bro. Don’t loose that smile ♥️
Great job with the bow making it's always the hardest at the end when it can break I used to make them out of juniper from powerlines bushes and they were already curved and could get woodchuck and squirrels was always fun doing that when I was younger thanks for the adventure is nice to watch as it has been snowing here in Maine glad you guys are all hooked up with Zack good guy too and again thanks for sharing your adventures and I can see how much work it must be with cameras and charging stuff 👍👍🦅
Love the instruction and "how to". Would love a deep dive into the skills, picking out the wood for the bow, how you're going about fishing that is working so much better, learning lessons from being out, what should have worked and why it did/didn't etc.
You guys rock! Not easy to be out there enduring weeks of this, as beautiful as it is. Just want to express on behalf of all your viewers how much we love and appreciate what you two are doing. It's adventure and friendship, the greatest journey on earth. Stay safe and enjoy the ride. When you are old and look back, you will not be disappointed. Peace brothers.
Dude...Where did you learn all your skills? It's one thing to study from books; it's at a whole different level to execute the skills. My hat is off to you, Amos. You helped Greg alot on this one!
To shave wood on your bow or other sticks, try broken glass tape you hand part and shave just like a knife…did it for my kids lacrosse stickers and hockey sticks…works great
I know from personal experience the pain Greg is in. It's worse than you'd ever realize unless it happens to yourself. I know that I've been critical during this adventure series but this is no joke and it can happen to the best of them. Mine was in for three days before I positively had to come ashore to have it removed and it came real close to having two fingers amputated because it was a hook large enough to stick both fingers together though the middle joints. But seriously, you guys both ROCK!!!
@@amosrodriguezsurvival Thanks Amos. They are still to this day different looking than my other fingers. We had to keep fishing and tending to our catch. I'm backing off on criticizing and I don't want to offend you guys for trying. It's just so darn frustrating when I can see it coming. But I DO appreciate you guys not being fakes and hiding your mistakes, but instead, learning from them. Please just don't ever work with your hook unless you have plenty of slack line. 🤔
I told Greg to watch out and hook Fin. I should have said for him to be careful as well. It happens to most of us at some point but. Loving the videos great Job
I have use the string method before myself, everyone should know that trick because it does work well! Unfortunately, in this situation, the hook was too far in to use that method. Hope that heals well. I have nerve damage myself, and that really sucks.
Great show guys Wow Greg your out to catch fish not yourself lol. Keep having fun guys. The bow is looking great Amos can't wait to see it finished. Have a great day guys.
It's admirable to see your spirits high even when energy gets low and times get tough beyond your control. I'm loving the bow build, too. Do you have a preference for the type of knife you use for a build like that?
A full tang survival knife that can handle batooning but that its also good for carving would be my choice, I've used a sami style knife and my falkniven knives for building bows in the forest without extra bow building tools.

I'd love to have an attitude like his. I've been working on it. It's hard not to let others' moods affect you.
Best wishes for the New Year
Amos is the best companion, and very skilled at Bushcraft
