Hi! I had to watch the first part of this video again. I've been using this pattern to make myself watchbands. I have a large Seiko automatic (self-winding) watch. I strip the 550 paracord so the flattened strands will fit under the pins of the watch. I make 2 to 3 bands a year, changing the colors for the season. I like this style because it lays flatter than the king cobra style. Thanks for providing me with my paracord and clasps, as well as your great instructional videos.. I don't order as often as I did formerly, but I still think your products are the best!
Going to have to sub, this is great. For whatever reason the way you explain things and the speed at which you show everything really resonated with me and I was able to crank out my first belt! Really appreciate your time making this content. Im off to see what else you have up and to set that bell reminder. Thanks again!
Like this one. I made one a little while ago. I finally found a use for my 3/4" whistle buckle. Since the buckle is not contoured, I was having problems with sizing the bracelets correctly, and the shape would always seem strange (like a D shape rather than the normal O shape of the bracelet). I only used two colors on mine, so that I didn't need to fuse colors and so I had longer strands of paracord. I just did a double cow hitch to basically have a single cow hitch made up of two colors, then carried on the same way you did.
As a "newbie" to this craft your videos are very helpful. They are great quality and you take your time to explain. Thank you. Any more "wide" videos coming up?
as time moves on it will stop for each and every one of us, I think you were first vid person I watched when I took up doing this….hope this finds u well, if so do you still have the store in ATL….
Gotta be my favorite person to watch do these, just wish you could show a way to do them without the buckles or possibly burns. Thinking in terms of if you need to actually use the cord(s) but want to put it back together afterwards.
I would have run black through center bottom then snipped and singed. would have kept pattern and no melted ends to show. nice bracelet either way. I'm going to use as a single point strap for my ar. green black brown.
Thank you for your videos that you give us, I want to ask what is the strongest way to finish a paracord project, cut and melt ends like this video or put it back cut and melt like paracord bracelets.? I want to make tack and because the animal is strong I want to make it with the strongest way Thank you!
Ive been thinking about doing a black/brown reverseable belt. I was going to do a king cobra but i i think this might be even better thinks for posting. (I know its been up for years but i just found it). Although I'll probably make a sinch belt with 2 D-rings instead of a buckle.
Good video and I like my bracelet it helped me make but just a heads up, for those of us new at this I had to watch it like 20 times to see which way you had the buckles, up or down. It was way hard to see. Thanks for the video
You can make this a lot longer and make a belt! I'd like to see some belt videos if you're running out of bracelets! Maybe one that incorporates a micro cord core?
What's the approximate cord stock to finished product ratio? Example: does 24ft of cord get a 7in bracelet. I'm looking to do a rifle sling (around 30in of sling in paracord).
Edward Starsmith I made a bracelet at 8" (including buckle) using 5 feet of each color (total of 20 feet with extra couple inches just to be safe) and I had just over 2 feet left over.
i made a single point weapon strap. as a general rule; ADD 2 EXTRA FEET. cobra knot ratio is (1in. = 1ft.) so a 30 in. cobra weave requires 30ft. plus the 2ft. extra to be safe ... This is a double ( side by side ) cobra weave so to do his style weave as a rifle sling ( 30 in. long ). 30ft. for the LH cobra weave & 30ft. for the RH weave and 2ft extra for the RH also 2ft extra for the LH... summary - 64 feet TOTAL .
I like this video. Bracelet looks really good. I am going to make one of these for my dog, for a dog collar. have you ever added a metal loop, or what would the process be on adding something like that? My dogs neck is around 20", so that would be about 21 feet of paracord?
I would guess that you just keep tying the knots until you reach the middle (or wherever you want the loop), and then for one or two passes (whatever will fit) run the middle strands through the loop. Then just carry on like normal.
Another great tutorial! I think Im going to try a triple wide and make a guitar strap. So far I've just tried the soloman or cobra weaves; I'm looking forward to learning new ones. Any suggestions?
How would you do one single strand for a belt? Meaning no fusing of two different colors. I'm making some belts for myself, one with buckles, and the other that is a metal "novelty style"standard belt buckle. I'm making some for some for my fellow security guards, any tips or videos to suggest would be helpful.
Thank you for posting your video's. They are helpful and I keep utilizing them because for some reason I keep forgetting steps. So thank you, I appreciate it. Remember - "Those who can't do, criticize." - Carolyn Poole
paracord bracelets arent really a big thing in my country... I ordered paracord and made bracelets to sell... I've seen the basic cobra weave go for $75... I used to sell mine for $40... its really hard to sell... so i just make them for myself... I never get tired of watching these vids... (US$1.00 = TT$6.43)
Sir Ive watched several of your videos and you are very telented, can you figure out how to make a rattlestrap survival belt, I want one but its too expensive for me
1 inch requires 1 foot of cord, plus an extra foot or two to be safe... the tightness or looseness of the weave uses more and less paracord , you will understand as soon as you get 10 to 20 cobra knots done and have to push/cinch them up
He recommends 1in=1foot, but I believe that is when he has found the center point and each strand is half the distance. Considering that, for this design, I would figure you would use half as much for each.
What is the math for how much paracord is needed per inch? I need to make a dog collar that is 20”, how much paracord do I need to make this braid? Does 1 foot make 1 inch? Thank you!!!
You shouldn't tell people you don't like the bracelet ..you just taught them to make..people want to feel good about what they create..and honestly you ruined it for me..so thanks
honestly i watched this so many other tutorials and yours is always the easiest to understand dude
glad it's people like you that take the time to put up quality videos so we can follow.

I always pull my center 2 down to the bottom of the bracelets that way it doesn't reveal the 2 center melted cords.

This one will always be my favorite
WOW! I really would like this weave for a rifle sling. Great job!

Thanks for sharing I'm definitely going to try this one
if possible, could you please make a video on how to do this knot but using an adjustable shackle?
Yeah, just do the exact same procedure as you would but just on a shackle, it’s not really that hard.
Good video and I like my bracelet it helped me make but just a heads up, for those of us new at this I had to watch it like 20 times to see which way you had the buckles, up or down. It was way hard to see. Thanks for the video
Great tutorial and great paracord!
i would have thought a soldering iron would be better than useing lighter. just a thought. nice bracelet though thanks for posting.
I did use this video for my first paracord bracelet.
Your instructions are so clear and concise, very easy to understand 😊
Thank u so much for the excellent effort u put. Flawless explanation
You can make this a lot longer and make a belt!
I'd like to see some belt videos if you're running out of bracelets!

+Kelly Cox I hope he answers this question. I'm looking to do a hat band and this information would be very useful.
Edward Starsmith I made a bracelet at 8" (including buckle) using 5 feet of each color (total of 20 feet with extra couple inches just to be safe) and I had just over 2 feet left over.
u better use 30 feet. I just made strap for my ar and I almost ran out at 28 feet.
i made a single point weapon strap. as a general rule; ADD 2 EXTRA FEET. cobra knot ratio is (1in. = 1ft.) so a 30 in. cobra weave requires 30ft. plus the 2ft. extra to be safe ... Is there a way to do a triple wide Soliman? It definitely wouldn't work with one wide buckle but what if you used three 3/8" buckles?
Man i can't shake that feeling that you use electric wires but not paracord, because color. :)
now I am really interested in paracord because I started watching weavers of eternity and Paracord101
very nice pattern and very easy to do i love paracord bracelets but my nemesis is the diamond knot😅🤣
Would it be possible to thread the black cords through hexnuts where ever they crossed?
I like this video. Bracelet looks really good. I am going to make one of these for my dog, for a dog collar. have you ever added a metal loop, or what would the process be on adding something like that? My dogs neck is around 20", so that would be about 21 feet of paracord?

Could this be done with the Millipede weave for a double wide quick deploy? Or would combining 2 millipedes wreck the quick deploy function?
Another great tutorial! I think Im going to try a triple wide and make a guitar strap. So far I've just tried the soloman or cobra weaves; I'm looking forward to learning new ones. Any suggestions?
i like the snake knot & the fishscale weave...
What is the length calculation of the rope you need? I want to make a band of 1 meter long. How much rope do I need?
Thank you. I am going to try a triple wide for a guitar strap.
any luck with that I'm trying to make a triple wide belt
you could move the connection of cords and close it
Do you think it is possible to make a King cobra version of this? Maybe with two buckles?
Hi from the store, Shawn!
could i use the colored ones to cross instead to mix upthe colors on either bracelet?
I’m making a sling for a staff case and the strap has to be 4 ft how much paracord would I need for it I’m think a lot
Is there a way to put a charm on this, new to para cording thanks for the video made it turned out great
Double king cobra - double cobra w/ two king cobra wraps.
That's what I thought too???
Should we be using a 60mm,5/8" or ? Size buckle for all that cording???
I would use the largest buckles you have up to 1".
I use a 3/4 and 5/8 buckles.
BoredParacord i have an idea i need help with. It is one i think you might like
Did you fuse any of the cords together, sorry new at this.

Search cobra braid. This basically just combines 2 of them together. Super easy
Vou fazer uma para mim, ficou muito bonito. Obrigado.
I just used this braid to make a collar for my Siberian Husky. Now to just make the leash.
Thank you for posting your video's. They are helpful and I keep utilizing them because for some reason I keep forgetting steps. So thank you, I appreciate it.

Sir Ive watched several of your videos and you are very telented, can you figure out how to make a rattlestrap survival belt, I want one but its too expensive for me
Very nice!!!
Silly question but how do I work out how much cord I need to complete an item?
HELP! I'm going to make a dog collar and it needs to be 20 inches long. How much paracord should I use for this type of bracelet?
Awesome video.
how long was the finished braclet
Hi, looking to make a collar for my dog with this weave. How many feet of cord per inch of dog neck should I use? Thanx.
1 inch requires 1 foot of cord, plus an extra foot or two to be safe... the tightness or looseness of the weave uses more and less paracord , you will understand as soon as you get 10 to 20 cobra knots done and have to push/cinch them up
U never said what the total finished bracelet length was.
how do you add a d ring for use as a dog collar
Wait a sec, if my wrist is 6 inches would I use 6 ft of paracord? Please help
He recommends 1in=1foot, but I believe that is when he has found the center point and each strand is half the distance. Considering that, for this design, I would figure you would use half as much for each.
How much cordage would I need for 18 in dog collar
Can you do king corba ?
Is this your design or JD's? I didn't see any credit given, so I'm confused?
how much of each colour do I need?
could you make a double wide king cobra?
U r using the 550 or 335 paracord
Do you know how wide this design is?
Can you do a video of how to add a D ring onto this double Solomon 😊 I can't for the life of me figure out how to do it on a double Solomon 😅🤣
Edit to add I want to make a dog collar using the double Solomon lol

You shouldn't tell people you don't like the bracelet ..you just taught them to make..people want to feel good about what they create..and honestly you ruined it for me..so thanks

WTF?
Is there a way to do a triple wide Soliman? It definitely wouldn't work with one wide buckle but what if you used three 3/8" buckles?
Yes, I could see that being done that way. This is something I may try to do in the near future.
Why on earth would you want to
U r using the 550 or 335 paracord
