Having rode over 8,000 miles on it's sister bike (the Downtown 300i), I can vouch for this bike. Quick, nimble, smooth, good-looking. However, if you're over 5'9" or have more than a 29" inseam...the Downtown was cramped.
good scooter, it is in effect a rebadged kymco downtown 300. the screen is too short and the seat slopes down slightly. top speed is an indicated 90mph and economy is easily 70 plus. overall a good scooter but if you can have a look at the downtown first. see what you think. Kawasaki now do a 125 cc of this as do kymco.
I thoroughly enjoyed the review of the scooter, and riding around in the various (and picturesque areas of Portugal) BTW, the hotel looked very beautiful and accommodating as well. I think she went over the important points of the bike quite well and gave potential buyers, both old and new, the information on what is proving to be (in ever crowded urban areas) a cost effective and enjoyable means of transportation. P.S. The helmet looked to be the Shark "Drak" in white.
is it tested in mode2/A2 license tests like emargensy stops, slow tasks and all that ?? with thought on how low it is .. important cause I am allowed to take the test with a scoother 125 or 300 .. was thinking about the honda forza 125 but if I can get the A2 I probably go for a 300cc but it have to be able to do the task like a normal motorcycle.. can it do that ?

That is why this bike would be suitable to get young riders potentially interested, because they would be legally allowed to ride it. No such restrictions here in the USA. :)
Kawasaki concentrated on making this scooter look "sporty" rather than making it a practical machine. The key thing is their failure to shave off its barge like over-weight which is a Kymco legacy. It is just too heavy for a modest 300 cc scooter. All very well once you are under way but we are in Suzuki Burgman 400 territory where parking and moving are concerned. It needs to lose at least 30 kilos and preferably 40 kilos.

Moved to the J300 at 73. my first bike was a Honda CB160! a wonderful machine
