Kudos for owning up to this. This is the same for me. It can bring out the demon in people, because they're 'at a distance' instead of face-to-face - and that perceived anonymity makes it easier for them to get away with it.

@@virginiahite9746 I tend to agree. Like all things, they have a 'good' side and an 'evil' side. Facebook has brought me valuable connections with people from around the world whom I might never otherwise have known about or met. But the downside often overshadows those good things. Like all social interactions, it can be hard to navigate. The social distance of it, though, makes it so much easier for people to be evil - prompting them to say things they would never say in a face-to-face interaction.

This reminds me of the Cherokee short story about the two wolves inside of us.
One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people.
He said, "My son, the battle is between two "wolves" inside us all.
One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.
The other is good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith."
The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather: "Which wolf wins?"
The old Cherokee simply replied, "The one you feed."

@@Doodlefisher That's awful, I'm sorry to hear that... This is why I hate the idea of step-parents, because most of the time it seems the step-parent is only in it for themselves(money, lifestyle, etc), and doesn't care about the kids. Meanwhile the POS parent of the children care more about their spouse.
Hearing that the spoiled step-brother got steak/eggs and you got complaints with cereal is ridiculous. It's like something you see out of a TV show or something, but it's sad that it happens in real life.
I hope you are no contact with them all. Your father didn't seem to do good by you, or maybe he didn't even know? These fathers who are working all the time are oblivious to what goes on, but they don't even listen when we try to tel lthem, because they think we are lying or making up something....
      It's sick.
It also sounded like you had a sibling who you went through this with? If that is the case, I will say at least you weren't alone going through that... I could imagine if it was just you.... In my case, we were fed the same pretty much (My brother wouldn't eat normal dinners, so mom would constantly make him chicken nuggets....), but it's not like we had it really different...
I will say there were a few times mom gave him a bunch of candy saying he deserved it for something, or that I got something(which i didn't) and he deserved to be rewarded.... That hurt when those times happened, especially since we were a no-snack family (I think I mentioned my story in the past comment, but I post so many comments).
All the best to you, I hope you are healing and doing well!

And in Jeremiah 29:11 For I Know the Plans that I Have For You Declares the Lord, Plans to Prosper you and NOT to harm you, Plans to give you Hope and a Future."
Who does God say is the "father of All Lies"? Satan. Anyone who spreads lies is doing the devil's Business.
Rebuke all those lies that have been spoken over you and your life in the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth...
and cover and seal yourself and your health and your pet(s) and their health, home, car, work etc with the Blood of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Now you are Safe.
They may still try their tricks and lies, but watch what God does because He says Vengeance is Mine says the Lord.
And in Ephesians 6 it says our fight is not against flesh and blood but its spiritual and that we Must put in the Whole Armour of God.

Calumny and slander typically involve making false and defamatory statements that damage someone's reputation.
However, I find that "weaponized truth"-truthful statements presented in a damaging way-can also be used with malicious intent to harm someone's reputation.
In my own personal healing journey, I choose not to air out the dirty laundry between myself and those who have wronged me, despite the mistreatment I have endured and the temptation to do so.
This decision isn't about shying away or covering up for the abuser, but is a silent testament to my rise above suffering.

Telling your side of the story isn't necessarily bad-mouthing. You can state the facts as you see them and your feelings about those facts without passing judgement on that person's behaviour. And think of this: isn't it your "civil duty" to warn others in your community? Let me tell you what happened in my family. My aunt was ill and her son hired a nurse to take care of her. That nurse coaxed a large sum of money out of my aunt, but my aunt didn't tell anybody about that. Two years later my mother got Covid and needed nursing. My cousin recommended the same person! And this time she got all of my mother's savings! Would I have hired her if I knew about what she did to my aunt? No way. So if someone mistreated you in a way that can be gangerous to the community, please, warn the community about that person

Dont forget that 'God' can work with a person to turn them around from their bad way 'if' they have a receptive heart . But if they dont then it is indeed a " fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God" because that person that continues in his/her evil way are actually fighting against the goodness of God 🤷‍♀️ ultimately they will lose . I was married to a Covert Narc. 22 1/2 years. Knowing something was dreadfully wrong, just not being able to put my finger on it, but I knew this was an animal of a different sort. Men who drank to much, players, womanizers. Those I were familiar with, but NPD’s?! Well, I got educated and divorced. Imagine my surprise when my daughter gradually turned against me and I finally realized going back and recalling situations, he worked on her for years behind my back. I said all that to say, now, my daughter believes in the one that is NPD and the things Anna talks about here is what she has done to me online. My granddaughter will be two this year and I’ve never got to even meet her bc her Momma’s daddy is an evil Azzhat and she wouldn’t believe me anyways, but I could never divulge to her what she doesn’t know. I refuse to get in that mud pit.

Thank you, doc! I went through this in the last 5 years. It was distracting and draining to fight people wishful thinking about me, and I have come to realize that calumny is witchcraft as well. We should not underestimate the spiritual power lying at the heart of calumny. I combated that calumny through seeking within myself why I was allowing me to trouble my peace, and once I dealt with that, I was able to create some boundaries with those folks without necessarily resenting or hating them, and made myself available to people that spoke life into me and had the courage and honesty to speak truth to my face when bothered by a word or an action of mine. One thing is, you may want people to stop, but they may not be willing to stop with the calumny because they have an evil agenda. Also, they may not be willing to admit that they are doing it. So the best advice is to draw boundaries while maintaining a respectful attitude toward them.

I really wish we could learn to respect everyone for who they are. Not try to change them. Not try to restrict or limit them. Not trying to hate them, not trying to doubt them. The list goes on. Let’s just love one another for who they are. I know what it’s like to have hateful and evil things said to me. Especially when it comes to my blindness. I think the most annoying thing is people not believing me when I say that I’m completely blind. I’ve gotten really good at not getting the hater back by saying mean things back to them in hopes that it would hurt them just as much as they did me. I try to kill the heat with kindness. Believe me, it is annoying when people don’t really think I’m blind. But, I’ve learned that if I just killed the heat with love, I feel much better about myself. And I feel proud of myself for not taking it so personal.

Im not nearly as sensitive as you, but have had physical reactions sometimes to a bad vibe. I hear what your saying. I have a related problem in that some 'evil' person put me and my husband into some Stream where everything we say or do in the privacy of our home / car is broadcasted to multiple people who we don't know or see. So sometimes i get feedback online about something i said in the privacy of my own home. This is enug to drive a person insane. People expect me to be a stepford like person for their own benefit. Some peeps may think that im saying things publicly when i'm Not. I guess it's called gangstalking. But I'm a communicator & cant live muzzled in my own house 😢. I’m reminded of this quote.
“So then what’s necessary…is a system, in which the good side is always winning, but never is the winner. Where the evil side is always losing, but never is a loser. That’s a very practical arrangement for a successful ongoing game which will keep everybody interested. And you must watch this in practical politics. Every “in-group” or group of “nice people”, needs an “out-group” of “nasty people” otherwise they wouldn’t know who they were! And you must recognize that this “out-group” is your necessary enemy who you need, he keeps you on your toes. But you mustn’t obliterate him; if you do, you are in a very dangerous state of affairs.
So you have to love your enemies in a sense, regard them as highly necessary and to be respected chivalrously. We need the communists and they need us, the thing is to cool it and play what I call a contained conflict, when conflicts get out of hand, all sides blow up. So why should we love our enemies? Because we need them.” -Alan Watts

Yoir message about lying and bullying is on point, but seeing Capital-E Noun Evil in a puddle of water is a bit concerning. Certainly since massage school made me acutely aware of it 18 years ago, my goal has been to keep empathy alert only for the things that involved me - places I could maybe do good. It's very easy to burn out or start jumping at shadows, however, if puddles are the enemy.

I get this. It's why I avoided relationships for 2 years after my particularly ugly divorce. Well, for her. I saw and felt relief. But the evil done to me was a bit much to take. I accepted her grandson's need to move away from her out of fear. Now he is almost ready to leave to be on his own. He has some executive deficits, so I know he will need to know he will have a soft place to land if he messes up. But if he doesn't, wow! I will feel so much better about his prospects for a normal life after coming from parents who actively took meth while he was gestating and even after he was born. His coordination and dexterity suffered in his aloneness as an infant. Anyway, evil is a virus, a sickness, and it infects people. We become weakened by it and carry that weakness forward if we do not cleanse it to some profound degree prior to re-engaging intimately. There are needs to connect with people and those should be met, but respect for boundaries needs to be enforced with the self because that evil is infectious and should not be spread.

This is a really great description of mobbing, and how the thrill of harm can overtake someones common sense and decent good faith.
I particularly notice it with the bigotry towards lgbtq people online, the frenzy of hysteria where a few people seem completely morally disconnected from any kind of accountability to say anything hurtful to lgbtq people, without thought towards honesty, basic human rights, or the dignity that they would treat any other family member.
It appalls me, because its an issue that is clearly different country to country and community to community. The statistics are very clear world wide, the vast majority of people are kind and have common sense to let people live in peace, but there is a small, malicious, and deeply disturbed bunch who seem to have not trouble throwing any array of hurt, defamation, and thoughtlless cruelty towards innocent people.
Its a fascinating study in how hysteria can be drummed up by bigots, and pool in a cess pit online and through social media algorthyms.
Im sure in future it will be prosecuted as a human rights abuse, also to the social media companies who have refused to protect people from this kind of bullying harm, but until then, I wish people would reign themselves in, and have some common sense.
People have the right to live in peace without persecution. A computer screen doesnt remove that right. Our conscience knows, even if people make excuses for themselves ❤

I am a Christian here. We do not fight against humans. For the bible talks about this fight is invisible. When someone comes against us, it is not the person that is doing the crime but an invisible enity, using that person as a host. Like someone driving a car. The car does not speed or does illegal things it is the driver. Everytime the attacker goes into attack mode, their body starts to change, in-person you might be able to see this happen in front of you, a person changing from one person into a completely difference person. Online you cannot see this, however it shows up in the writing. As someone who is spiritual and gets attacked everyday, it is quite intresting to see the morphing process.
I made a comment to someone and another person started attacking me out of left field for a different topic completely. First I responded with some suggestion material for them to read and when that did not tame the beast, I had to take it one step further. I told them I don't want to argue with them and tried to end the subject. Of-course they did not want to drop it so I had to respond back. At this point the only way to drop the subject was to restate what just happened and explain their attack was for a topic we are not talking about right now. Basically bring back the converstation to the topic we were talking about before the attack. Of-course this is just 1 of many examples.
As far as the enity driving the host, I want to address the host is still guilty. Even though the host is also a victim, it is still their beast. When you get a dog, it is the dog owner's full responsibility to control that dog 100 percent of the dog's time here on earth. If you don't, then it most likely be agressive and act out. Don't get an animal thinking, it can figure it's life out on it's own, the owner still has to train it and keep it in check. Judge judy talks about this all the time and with any animal.
When the host does not see anything wrong with their actions then it is letting the invisibly enity control it's own life. So choose wisely who will control your life. If we don't let Jesus control our lives then evil sure will.

I agree that Evil does exist. Calumny ISN'T it, though what you're describing will harm you. Proper Evil is something else and way way worse. You can't be 'made' evil, though you can be influenced into doing bad or even evil actions. It's also not something you recover from either though you can break free of the influence. Good is subtle, yes, but I've yet to see it do much by way of 'winning' in terms of practical results.
