- Опубліковано 14 чер 2024
- Martin Fourcade's is a biathlon legend. However his legacy on the sport is bigger than biathlon. From when the Frenchman broke onto the scene in 2010 at the Vancouver Olympics to his reign of seven straight overall World Cup victories, Fourcade was the man to beat in Biathlon. Today he continues his influence on the sporting world as an Olympic athlete rep and continues to host the Martin Fourcade Nordic Festival.

Hey Kid, very nice video! Good On'Ya!!
I appreciate it
It was an absolute pleasure to watch Martin race and he cemented my love for the sport.
Outstanding vid on Fourcade.
I read his book. A grand athlete.
Yay Martin ❤
haha the way you say french and norwegian names are rly funny, that being said good video chief.
Nice
Brian, when will the ibu admit Russian athletes and stop discrimination on the basis of nationality?
That is a good question. I cannot answer that.
@@BrianHalligan-USAwhy, when America invaded other countries, American athletes were not suspended? When will the Russophobic policy end?
@@user-wh6wn6cm1r lol I don't work for the IBU, IOC or any other governing body. I just comment on the sport I love.
@@BrianHalligan-USA Bryan, I asked for your personal opinion. You're also against the return of Russian athletes, aren't you? We Russians never forbid foreign athletes to participate in competitions in Russia, regardless of what actions their states commit
@@user-wh6wn6cm1r my personal opinion is I want the best athletes to compete. However if there are governmental actions higher (grander) than biathlon that IOC feels warrants suspension then it is what it is. I don't have enough information to know if that is the best action for the situation.
I feel for the athletes who probably have nothing to do with the situation and just want to race. I have sympathy for them.
fourcade was great but there will never and i mean neverrrrrrrrrrrr be someone even remotly close to the greatness of ole einar bjorendalen
I have to say it’s vise versa, no one will come the greatness of Fourcade not Ole, Johannes, no one
I think he is greatest biathlonist ever.
Ole 25 seasons
Martin 12 seasons
He would beat every ole's records easily if he would still perform.
Martin the Best
Would be more enjoyable with the music toned down... or even better, no music at all.
c'est la vie
Banning Russian athletes or not shaking their hands at competition since the war broke out does not make any sense. Athletes are so far removed from reality and have nothing at all to do with the actions of their countries. On another note, Fourcade is the GOAT.
If referring to the podium situation referenced in the video that was from 2017, long before the Russian invasion of Ukraine
