Just Like You was such a great album, and after Losing My Life i thought he was onto something magical... as good as the song Popular Monster is, i think that was the beginning of the end
yeah seems like after Popular Monster Ronnie just thought "oh shit that song got mad views, better make something similar with even more breakdowns" and just pumped out songs with crazy metal breakdowns for the sake of it
@hubson1443 exactly, he did Losing my mind, Losing my life, drugs, popular monster and they were all different and awesome songs, then everything after that has been chasing popular monster
We have not had a lot of bad albums this year. But the ones that were worse than bad... Really blew my mind. Genre Sadboy, Vultures series so far, CXOXO, Ice Spice and likely Falling Off in real time.
Man you're brave to talk about Ms. Ronnie I thought you were sick of fighting and that's why you didn't mention him anymore. Brad got all the heat these years, now it goes back to the OG! But in all seriousness, it's crazy that he's putting an album after years of terrible singles (lit for 5 years), but also that these were all really popular. Falling In Reverse is still one of the biggest rock/metal groups of this day & age. Like BMTH type stuff, tho they do make great music. He's literally the Tom Mcdonald for metal. I know many FIR listeners may not even know who he is and they're a metal group mostly, but it works the same way, especially as they rap a lot. What hurts the most is that for the metal genre it's def one of those bands that do the same sht over and over again and never change it up. And he's supposedly blending so many genres but no matter which one he jumps in it's still so formulaic. Like, I disliked their music solely for this until I heard WTWB and realised how bad it really was. He went in on that one. His ego and btchy attitude really came through on it. And then muscially he rapped more than ever but he sounded 1st like NF and then like Eminem. And then the typical metalcore formula with some angry af screams. It really is funny seeing him that furious cause you know the hate really gets on him. He also used the worst cover from his singles for the album. I remember you saying you had a love-hate relationship with him back then and I heard Popular Monster and was like: "ayo this sht goes kinda hard ngl" and watched like all the reactions to it. But that's all it's now. It's all made to get that reaction from people with the slow building music, the fast rap, then the full instrumentation and singing and the breakdown at the end. You'd think with how many genres he did it'd be dif but no, even if you take the rap out it's the same thing and not done gracefully. Notice I barely talked about Ronnie as a person, cause I don't care and I don't need to. The music is garbage no matter what and that's all I need to trash him up. Def his building anger made it worse in recent years, but even if I didn't know what he was talking about I'd know it sucks. It pains me that his band is still super big. I hope it ends up soon. Wonder how he will feel about these reviews 👀
I said it on Twitter, and I’ll say it here; Ronnie likes playing the heel… and you can’t be the heel all the time. People get sick of that shtick real fast, real quick. With that being said, it’s the scene’s version of Kayne West’s Vultures. Unreviewable/10.
I have to disagree with that video and also mention that I hate people not knowing stuff about music production and industry. I get that it's your opinion that you dislike this album, but objectively it's good and the 4th place in the worldwide charts of the album says a lot about the quality of that record.
I don't like Ronnie as a person or some of his views that he's... very open about, I also think some of his hardcore fans are rabid, particularly the ones who go and harass whoever Ronnie put on his Instagram story. However, I admittedly still like his music. I only like a few songs in the current album, I prefer some of his recent singles or older work though.
Love the video, and to be fair, I don't hate Ronnie or Falling In Reverse. I can respect whatever artistic vision he has for this band because, let's face it, he is like Amy Lee is to Evanescence because he is the band. But that doesn't mean that denouncing the scene that you were good enough to come up in and turning into an elitist snob that did a song with Jelly Roll makes you a great artist or even a halfway decent human being. Also, I find it funny that he denounced metalcore and hardcore, yet he has a collab with Alex Terrible from Slaughter to Prevail, because clearly that band isn't on the far end of those genres and also deathcore.
The interesting thing about the Last Resort cover is I have yet to hear a neutral opinion of it. People are either glazing the shit out of it or throwing mud in its direction saying it's one of the worst covers they've ever heard.
Ronnie deserves all the roasting he gets. Hell, I See Star did a diss track towards him called People Like You all the way back in 2013 that still holds up 11 years later! However, separate from Ronnie, I do like some of FIR’s music. I just treat it like a Fast and Furious movie in metalcore form and tune out the lyrics.
I never knew Ronnie would finally achieve the impossible and make a worse song than "Alone". I also never knew he would do it 11 times and put it in an album.
@KingKrouch lol tru. Sure, ronnie can get annoying bc he constantly feeds trolls and bitches about people bitching about him. But that doesn't make him a bad person lol
My brother sent me this album saying "it hits so hard in my truck". Thank you for your evisceration. Also as an Easter egg, The rock in "face off" sounds exactly like "prelude". It's the same song 😂
I'm listening to the new post malone and foster the people albums and not wasting my time to listen to a grown ass man in his 40s whining like a karen on his band's new album
You know they’re smart when they’ve got INK merch. Ronnie could have done something with this album but his ego and his political edgelord personality destroyed this album lmao
I honestly enjoy Falling in Reverse by hearing Ronnie be like "I went through so much shit and I've changed guys🥺" when he constantly does and says tons of shitty things that say otherwise, it's frustrating
If this came out 20 years ago and I was in high school, this would be my favorite album. Now, not so much. Make fun of Ronnie, but no dissing Tech Nine.
I’m here giving this video another view and a comment just because Ronnie tried to roast you 🤣 Such a “successful” and “busy” dude has time to give you THREE MINUTES of shaky video? (Seriously my man grab a tripod)
He’s such a clown it’s unbelievable. My wife and I are laughing about asses off while this miserable 40 year shaky cam loser rants about me on Instagram. You have a 3X platinum song why do I matter so much to you 🤡
I honestly feel so bad for the other members of the band. The drummer Luke Holland is literally one of my favorite drummers of all time and a huge influence for me as a drummer myself so it seriously sucks seeing him being apart of this shitshow but at the same time there probably all getting paid a hell a lot of money to just shut up and play so they probably don’t care about throwing away there morals for a nice paycheck
Man, I've been subscribed to you for longer than I can remember. But this was embarrassing. This video was nothing but you advertising how offended both Ronnie & his music makes you feel. Surely, you realized that before posting this review.
Not embarrassing at all my dude, but we can agree to disagree. Of course that’s what it was, it’s Ronnie. His music IS him and it’s impossible for me to separate the art from the artist with him. Sorry you felt that way about the video though, I do appreciate you watching for all these years.
It’s rather saddening for me about Ronnie because on the one hand, in a way, I can sympathize on the things that happened in his life, such as the loss of a brother, the absence of his parents, and just the passion of wanting to be in a band. I believe his passion really translated into the material with ETF, and I believe he really followed that up with the debut for FIR. At the time, I had admired his passion for music, and when starting FIR, I saw someone who wasn’t going to let the circumstances stop him from achieving something that he was passionate for. Although, it seems that over time Ronnie slowly lost himself and became something that I don’t recognize, admire, respect, nor have the patience for anymore. It really does frustrate and saddens me who he’s become. On the other hand, everyone check out SeeYouSpaceCowboy’s new album Coup De Crace, it’s infinitely times better that FIR, and if you have the opportunity to see them live and meet them, you should definitely do it. They’re amazing🖤
I can't lie this is one of if not your best Rock/Pop/Rap Gone Wrong video along with the 30STM one lmao. Ronnie Radke is also not a very good person and goes after anyone who critisizes his music, and I'd say he's a modern day Axl Rose. Also, I think you should do a Pop Gone Wrong video for the upcoming Katy Perry album.
Wow, the claws came out with this one, Jon! I’ve rarely seen you get this scathing before. I have absolutely no opinion good or bad about Ronnie Radke so this was pretty hilarious to watch!
My man literraly making money roasting people. Plus, i get that you dont like the guy, but his work and his persona are different things. I have an advice to give you, try spending a week without twitter, instagram, tiktok and youtube, get a book, and spend some time by yourself thinking. It honestly makes a lot of difference, and you are going to be able to sort your ideas better since i can clearly see you are driven by the emotions (or the acting for the money idk) (film some random videos in advance so the channel isnt screwed up after comeback)
I only liked one new song… and I only liked All My Life… the rest are either old and shouldn’t have been in the album, this is worse than how Angels and Airwaves made their album, they did the SAME. THING.
Come one Jon, Zero? Really? I get it, you despise the guy and it's very clear that it clouds your judgment of the music itself. I mean I'm not the biggest Falling in Reverse fan I like some of their stuff (especially this new album) but you can't denny that this album brings creative ideas to a genre where everything sounds exactly the same. I've been following your channel for years and I like your content overall, but I think the tone of this one is just not right. If you hate the guy so much that you see red when listen to his music (lol) you shouldnt be reviewing his stuff. I mean you do you, but that's just an opinion of someone that loves music and have been following you for a while.
Hearing bits of the "Last Resort" cover honestly makes me wonder how Ronald will butcher "Getting Away with Murder", another Papa Roach anthem famously featured over the end credits of the 2004 sci-fi film The Chronicles of Riddick.

Regarding social issues... he's the ONLY artist ballsy enough to stand up to the haters that falsely spit venom. They read one shit article/post/review... Boom! Instant experts. Just Hating to Hate. I feel most of these people are lost souls that do not feel adequate or relevent, but want to.. So they search for the perfect cause. What better way to make yourself feel better than to stomp on someone else's reputation, right? It's just sad. There are many of which I am not a fan but do I talk shit? NO. I focus on the positive of those I Do like.
He's selling out arenas. Merch drops- gone in minutes and have you seen the numbers on Spotify, YT, etc.. he's skyrocketing to the top.
Ya'll better buckle up- You're not canceling Ronnie...
Fantastic review, you dropped better bars in these 13 minutes than Ronnie Ratman has in his whole career.
lowkey living for angry jon reviews, they always hit 😂
This was more of just a roast to Ronnie than an actual review. Love it
To be fair, what else can you do when the album reads like ramblings from a 15 year old edgelord’s diary?
@@ouroboros6666 Normally I would agree with you, but in FIR's case it's almost impossible to separate Ronnie's shenanigans from their music
Respectfully, I disagree with literally everything you said in this video 😂😂😂
I've never called myself a FIR fan or liked Ronnie as a person.. until now lmao?? idk what happened to me to change my mind this year????
I disagree with a lot too… but my god HOW he said it. In a rap battle he’d be winning like 146-0
Literally how, this album is dogshit and it reflects how much of an out of touch online sociopath he is 😭😭😭
We can’t deny that Ronnie went downhill.
Me too whats your insta
I had succesfully forgotten about the existence of Ronnie Radke until I started following the Paladin Strait mv director on Instagram and realized he's basically the creative director of FIR
our lives are truly, like video games.
He released Popular Monster in the full knowledge that it would trigger thousands of people, then he sat back and laughed his a$$ off reading comments like these on yt. Doesn’t matter if you like him or not, everyone knows who he is now. Marketing genius!
No one is “triggered” by his songs, he’s just a pathetic whiney little bitch who calls anyone who doesn’t like his music “triggered” but yet gets triggered and bitches when he’s responding to someone who criticizes him in any way. If he’s famous and making all this money why even engage? Focus more on your music career at that point.
Whatever it's a dog shit album
Just Like You was such a great album, and after Losing My Life i thought he was onto something magical... as good as the song Popular Monster is, i think that was the beginning of the end
yeah seems like after Popular Monster Ronnie just thought "oh shit that song got mad views, better make something similar with even more breakdowns" and just pumped out songs with crazy metal breakdowns for the sake of it
@hubson1443 exactly, he did Losing my mind, Losing my life, drugs, popular monster and they were all different and awesome songs, then everything after that has been chasing popular monster
@@cagedhercules5649 Popular Monster is their magnum opus it seems, but they really should've moved on from it lol
Coming Home had some really good songs on it too.
This album Makes “Revival” By Eminem look like “To Pimp A Butterfly.”
Heck I’ll go further, “Nostalgia Critic’s The Wall” is a better album than this.
At least Doug Walker apologized for The Wall. Ronnie will NEVER apologize.
Philosophy of the World by The Shaggs looks like Abbey Road compared to this
@@evil_icicle At least PotW had fans with Kurt Cobain and Frank Zappa.
Lovin’ the Ice nine shirt, dude. 🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽
Also, this album gets a 2.75/5 for me. The singles are pretty cool, everything in else is just “wtf is this?”
We have not had a lot of bad albums this year. But the ones that were worse than bad... Really blew my mind. Genre Sadboy, Vultures series so far, CXOXO, Ice Spice and likely Falling Off in real time.
Glass Animals album was dogshit too
@@artvjonNOOOOOO. 😢 it's okay man we still cool even though we don't know each other lol
don't even remind me of Genre Sadboy, us mgk fans don't want to remember about this shit
Man you're brave to talk about Ms. Ronnie
I thought you were sick of fighting and that's why you didn't mention him anymore.
"Mugshot the album!"
All the songs in Eb minor sound exactly the fucking same with the same rap verse, rock chorus+metal breakdown formula
Yep. Exactly!!
You nailed it.
This guy hates Ronnie more than that muscular guy that hate Ronnie back then and said the phrase "Bing bam boom Ronnie youre done BOOM!!"
Ronnie is trash
only posers would like this album, most likely Punk Rock MBA & Alex Hefner
lmao
Fucking Finn and Alex, criticises everything VS criticises nothing
The fact that he still has a career or any enablers honestly disturbs me.
Agreed
ah yes, the maroon 5 of rock
nah even Maroon 5 is more respectable than this
I don't like Ronnie as a person or some of his views that he's... very open about, I also think some of his hardcore fans are rabid, particularly the ones who go and harass whoever Ronnie put on his Instagram story.
Falling in Reverse, more like Falling Normally amirite

Holy shit the Mic Quality bro it’s so GOOD
I read this as 'McQuality'
Ah thank you, been working on improving audio quality
Will you review Imaginal Disk by Magdelena Bay?
Ronnie the kinda guy to complain about free taste samples being too expensive.
I hope Ronnie Radke doesn’t demand to take your video down. Honestly, he doesn’t take criticism very, very well.
i actually really liked the music i just wish there werent as many singles
I never knew Ronnie would finally achieve the impossible and make a worse song than "Alone". I also never knew he would do it 11 times and put it in an album.
At least Fashionably Late has the benefit of “Game Over” as a So-Bad-It’s-Good song
You obviously must be deaf or have no musical taste period if you think is album is bad

Patiently waiting for Ronnie’s comment on here for how butthurt he felt about this review
He jusy made a TT about it. It was pretty funny

This Ronnie guy loves to whine that everyone is trying to censor him. I can’t stand him.
If this came out 20 years ago and I was in high school, this would be my favorite album. Now, not so much. Make fun of Ronnie, but no dissing Tech Nine.

I liked it. Hate the guy, what he stands for, but I thought the music was good. Shame that I had heard the whole album before it released anyway!
I’m here giving this video another view and a comment just because Ronnie tried to roast you 🤣
Such a “successful” and “busy” dude has time to give you THREE MINUTES of shaky video?
I wouldn't feel to bad for them. They are getting paid a shit load of money and playing arenas. I'm sure they are stoked

Dont agree with this review
I think it is a good album, not the worst thing.
Nah I dig like 3/4 songs from falling in reverse 2024
Dude I’m sorry but you’re way off base. I spend very little time online and I think my digital footprint proves that
you're telling him to do these things yet you call this a roasting channel... yeah mhmm do as I say not as I do
I really like the music. 🤷♀️
I only liked one new song… and I only liked All My Life… the rest are either old and shouldn’t have been in the album, this is worse than how Angels and Airwaves made their album, they did the SAME. THING.
yeah? well, you know, that‘s just like uh, your opinion, man.
True though
Zero.
