During my time at IIT Delhi (Karakoram Hostel) food was not the best. Most of us used to eat at a dhaba near the hostel. Now that dhaba has become a canteen.
IIT Guwahati has got the best food. It provides varieties of food option to the students. They made sure that both the veg and non veg options are available to the students and not just try to dictate by providing only veg option. Because not 100% people of India are vegetarian. And students come to these prestigious institutions from across the country. So the natural diet (veg or non veg) of every student should be taken into consideration. I know I'll receive lots of troll and hatred because of my opinion but I'll stand by my opinion. Sincere respect to all the vegetarian and vegan people. But respect is a two way road and it should be vice versa. There shouldn't be any food dictatorship. Like live and let live...eat and let eat...
IIT Powai serves most heavenly food. The food variaties and they serve idli/ wada samabhar , poha , bread (raw and toasted) , milk , tea , eggs , grapes , banana and what not in breakfast. Seriously the food making me study hard 😂😂 I never knew iit serves such a heavenly food

The very bad thing healthwise is all food has red colour in it as it causes cancer a slow killer , health organisation had proved it no mind if you are consuming it sometimes but here you guys will eat for 4 years continuesly the result will get at the age of 40 and above. solution : Do it ...discuss with all students make an application and submit it to the head office to skip red or any sort of colour in food . stay safe baccha , just think is your home food prepared with colour ? No ,not at all A message from an Indian Mother.God bless
