The way you describe things is so cool and hilarious at times. I like your positive outlook. You know that being NEET is a blessing and you embrace that. This is the best life path in modern society no doubt. Can't wait for the day i become NEET and never leave NEETdom ever again.

You couldn't have put it better, been following comfy for probably going on 3 years now. Love his humour and love the long vids. Great to hear things from another NEET's perspective too, with alot of it I can relate to.

The best thing you can do is craft a life that is as authentic to you as possible. Society breeds people to live by external forms of validation and authority, but the only person whose views and authority you should live by is yourself. If being a NEET happens to encompass your values the best, then so be it.

Full time wageslaving completely ruined me. It turned me into an empty lifeless robot. I now have anhedonia, I can't enjoy any cope anymore, I just feel nothing anymore, completely numb. Also suffer from insomnia and tinnitus now. This is what wagie life can do to you.
Gonna go back to neeting soon and will never look back fck work.

You’re absolutely right & I wouldn’t trade it for the world. Been going on 7 years of neetdom & I do love the freedom that I have to do whatever I want with the time that I have now. I get to smoke bud every morning, play video games for the rest of the the day or even skateboard when I feel up to do it but I know eventually I’ll have to start coding doing freelance stuff in the future. As long as you have a plan for yourself, I see no problem with this lifestyle since I used to work retail before I became a neet and that was hell in itself having to commute to work in the mornings. I love being a neet ngl

One thing I just realized is in my life now is 1 year of school from back in the day would feel like 500 years of neetdom now. That’s how slow time was passing back then. If time is moving slow, that means your life is fucked.

unrelated slightly but about the tismo, idk if any other autist neets have this but for us even if can move past the social issue we sometimes can keep a job because of sensory stuff. I quit college cause for one i cant distinguish words if there is background noise and also being around normies scream laughing next to me for hours was sensory hell.

I know someone who thinks NEET is detrimental to someone's health and life. He encourages staying busy with constant work/employment. But he works those gig economy delivery jobs (Lyft? Ubereats?), has already totaled 3 vehicles due to the wear and tear from years of deliveries, and has had to take a loan out on a new used car for his work because he didn't have enough cash saved to buy it clean off. He can't afford his own place either, still lives with his parents. I don't think he's had that epiphany yet about the cons of the rat race and its eternal revolving door of BS, despite his job being the perfect modern example of it. Combine that with the current modern economy in which regular working folks are losing more and more ground by the day.
