But I’ve managed to develop routines, organization and habits to maintain a clean home instead of cleaning a dirty one. I include helpful cleaning tips and tricks in every video to help you do the same.

My grandmother was a single mother of two boys when there were no opportunities for women. She kept a tidy home and always put food on the table. Somehow she made it look easy.

Hi Randi! Just found your videos this week. Every year after Christmas I do a whole house deep clean, but this year I knew I needed to simplify my life and have been just minimizing my home. So I was watching the Minimal Mom videos which is ( I think ) how you videos started appearing in my recommended section. I just love them, I watch them before my daily cleaning and it truly motivates me to go that extra step toward excellence. I live in WV so seeing your hummingbirds in the background makes me excited for their return to my yard. Just wanted to let you know that I appreciate watching and I understand that you make it look so easy, but I know that to get all those extra angles look so seamless is a lot of work ❤

I do a deep downstairs clean on Fridays and today is so cloudy and blah so I am appreciative of this motivation. I am wondering Randi if you are ever going to do a Q&A while you clean? I have lots of questions for you! First where did you get your sofa blankets? How old are Cali and Ace? Are they related? What is a typical winter in Southern California? I seen in the garden tool video you were wearing shorts and in this video you were outside on the patio? We won’t be doing that here in Michigan for about 3 months! What is your husbands name? We see him pop up a bit more in your videos will he be in your videos more often? It’s fun to see the behind the scenes! Would you ever do a what I eat in a day? My Doctor has discussed leaving gluten behind and it would be great to see how your food prep meals come together! Have a great weekend!!
It definitely is blah & dreary in SE Michigan. Definitely a struggle to get motivated.
Oh my, that's a lot! 😂 I will have to work on all that! The blankets we found at Costco. Ace & Cali are brother and sister but 9 months apart. Cali is 13 next month and Ace just turned 12. This is the first time we've had a typical winter in years. Most days have been in the 60s. We've had one or two nice days. I have cabin fever already. 😂 My husband wants to keep his anonymity for now. But I'm working on more meal prep videos. Thank you! 🥰

Just recently found your channel…and binge watched! We moved about a year ago to our retirement fixer upper and with the projects and different home I have not found my routine and not really tried. You videos have encouraged me to get back into a routine and add the zones! I have 2 weeks behind me and feel much better about our home! We still have projects but I work around them. There is something about a clean home that gives a good feeling…I haven’t had that for a year! We also got a new puppy a few months ago and going in and out and living out in the country…there is a lot tracked into the house. You have mentioned you robot vac…does it go over the carpets and floor without getting stuck for the most part? I sweep daily but would almost need a second clean up and have been thinking about getting one but wondering their efficiency?
You have a beautiful home and patio. So inviting! We live in wisconsin so winters are long so looking forward to patio time! Our son and family live in central california and we will be visiting soon but I don’t think it’s that warm yet there. Thank you for your inspiration!
Hi Esther! Getting back on track is like coming up for air. My dogs are constantly dropping off hitch hikers. 😂 It only gets stuck if the change in carpet height is under something that is too low. If that makes sense? I just have to make a minor adjustment to the furniture placement. We have the self-empty feature. Such a life savor.

Hi Randi. You are definitely my favorite channel on UA-cam. I would like to have your recommendation on two items that you use, you mop vac and the leaf blower. The link to the mop vac took me to a corded Bissell. Is that the one you would get instead of your cordless Hoover? Also, your leaf blower, which one do you have? Which one would you get should yours break? I’m looking to purchase these two things and outdoor appreciate your recommendations. Thank you so much.😊

Hi Randi. Hope all is well in your camp, we just got back home last weekend after just over 6 weeks away and although we had a fabulous time I am now struggling to get back on track. It seems I have forgotten all the well orchestrated routines and am jumping all over the house without achieving anything🤦♀ My goal for this week end is to actually sit down and write down a plan for next week! I have six pillows on my bed and eight decorator throw pillows🤣🤣. I do not own a dresser. I use baskets in the closet for small things and Just fold jeans on the shelf. Every single thing that can be put on a hanger every shirt night gown dress jacket goes on a hanger

I’ll been under happy for two wks and been keeping my blinds Close. My sister hushand can’t walk he is in a hospital bed at home My sister had to go to Dr in Birmingham Alabama and I went over there stay with him make sure He take his medicine He went to sleep and I started cleaning house Washes dishes and vacuuming Alright now my sister got a big house Oh Lord I always want a big house. Not Now too much cleaning in a big house 😂 I was tired 😴. I will do anything for my sister and her husband.

Can I ask when you wash your microfibre cloths do you still use vinegar and is there anything you wouldn’t wash with vinegar.
Hi Rachel! I'm so glad to hear that! Vinegar is not good for everything. Wood, stone, aluminum, video screens. I'm sure there's more.

@@27foxplace Thanks for that. I’m sure when I was a waitress we used to spray the tables with a vinegar solution at the end of the shift. They were dark oak tables and it removed the grease. Unless I’m mistaken. What sort of vinegar do you use. It is just white vinegar?
I used distilled vinegar. It depends on the type of finish on the wood. It can take awhile before the damage becomes noticeable.
Hello again, thanks for your response. When you use distilled vinegar on clothes, is there any fabrics you can’t use it on? Does it makes colours run etc.

Hi Randi, im watching from Australia and was wondering what size is your wahing machine and dryer. Also can you select a small, medium and large size loads of washing? Love your videos.
Hi Helen! The model info is in the description box. There's no way to select load size. the machine decides. Not a fan of the feature because I don't know how much soap to use. 😕
For years I've used white vinegar as a fabric softener substitute but I stopped recently because I read that (as acid) it damages the washing machine over time, especially rubber gaskets, I think they said. Have you ever found or heard/read that? I won't use commercial fabric softeners so I've just been doing without and not seeing much difference, but considering returning to vinegar. Wondering if anyone reading this has any info on the subject?
Vinegar is acidic, so it can damage rubber. For what it's worth, the repair tech is the one who suggested using it. 🤷🏼♀️ We have hard water, so vinegar helps prevent water deposits.
