Your hedge is a good example of the types of things we just got rid of in our yard makeover. We are both in our early 70’s and we came to realize that if we were going to be able to remain independent and not have to depend on others we needed to make our yard and house as maintenance free as possible! I have a raised bed garden still but most of the edge of our yard is river rock now. It’s beautiful and no care at all!

It is relaxing watching you doing house work but at the same time I know how this chores can be daunting. Thanks for the ideas on cooking and also remaining us to take a brake and brake down all chores during the week.
I do also feed hummibirds and I mix 1/4 of white sugar per 1 cup of boiling water and stir very well but not actually boiling the water and sugar on the stove since this will be a syrup. I hope I explained well.
The sugar mixture with color is not recommended .

Your garden and patio are beautiful. We had a break from the humidity this past week in TN, but I’m afraid it has returned. I laugh when you fold your husband’s socks. My husband has a draw full of the same socks! Have a good week!
Hi Vicki! Thank you! The yard was a bit neglected over the summer, but we’re all caught up. 👏🏻🥵 it’s usually very dry here, around 20-30% humidity. But it’s been up around 45%. That’s probably low for you. 😂 Have a great week! 🌸💕🥰

Dang it my mouth did it’s own thing with those salads 😂 they looked so yummy! Last week I pulled out the couches and used baking soda and vinegar on the mouldy sills. I also washed the curtains. Looks like a new living room!

4. What part do you live in that it gets so hot?
5. How do you keep such a great figure and toned legs? What is your exercise route?
6. Where did you get the pliable dish rack and that elegant, practical paper towel holder?
7. What vacuum robot and spray mop do you use?
8. That is wonderful that you feed the hummingbirds! What do you use as nectar?
9. Those candles and hanging candle holder are great! Have the reference and how to get them?
10. Great taste in decorating! Did you do it yourself or work with a designer?

I just watched your channel for the first time, and enjoyed your video. I wanted to mention that you absolutely DO NOT need to put red food coloring in your hummingbird water. Some dyes can be detrimental to the little guys, and they will be attracted to t he red on the feeder, anyway. I have LOTS of experience with hummingbirds! Thank you again. Great motivational video.

Miss Randi, do you have any idea how and when I should prune my rose of Sharon? I planted it in my front yard about five or six years ago, but it is so tall and overgrown and I don’t have any idea how to clean it up. Your yard is so beautiful and your plants are well taken care of, so I thought of you… I don’t want to ruin it💕 I live in Buffalo NY, and even though it is still in the 80’s here, soon it will be dropping followed by cold rain, then ❄️ snow!

How do you make your hummingbird food? Boil water or just dissolve in water and where did you purchase the feeders? Like the big cylinder to hold lots of food!
I use a 3:1 water:sugar ratio. Sugar needs hot water to dissolve. It’s better to boil the water first, then add sugar to dissolve. You don’t need to add any color to the nectar. Here’s the link for the feeder geni.us/Hmbrfd

I love the shrubs that you have growing around the gate in your yard…it’s so pretty! It must be so nice to watch all of the hummingbirds through your window!
Can I ask you how you wash your microfiber cloths? I’ve been reading online how to do it, but I’m getting conflicting answers… some say wash in warm water because hot water ruins the fiber but then again some say to use hot water because of germs. Also, do you separate your microfiber cloths before washing… I was wondering if you wash them all together or do you separate the ones you use in the kitchen from the ones you use in the bathrooms? Hi Janel! It's so confusing! Microfiber is designed to rinse out the germs with water. 🤷🏼♀️ I wash the microfiber clothes in warm water with mild detergent. No fabric softener. It's better to wash them separately because they collect lint in the wash. I don't have enough for a full load, so I use garment bags to keep them separate from the rest of the laundry. I always use a low heat setting on the dryer. Have a great week! 🌸💕🥰
Hi Randie, did you say you use granite cleaner on your floors, then rinse it off with just water? If so, that’s a great idea. I just spent three days cleaning up and painting my doors and trim.😅

I am brand new to your channel and really enjoy your beautiful content! The plastic bags you are using for lettuce, does the lettuce stay fresh for a good period of time?
Removing air and moisture from lettuce leaves keeps them fresher longer. Remove the air and add a paper towel to absorb excess moisture. but they loose nutrients, so it’s better to consume them as soon as possible.
