The parks in Minneapolis really are a treasure, so well maintained.
I agree about the skyway's downside, empty sidewalks with no exterior access to businesses. I get why but it's not great for tourism. Still, overall really great city.

I'm from Minnesota, and actually moving back soon, MN is literally the butthole of winter in the US, the skyway is an engineering marvel, it's literally hamster tunnels connecting most of downtown for miles so you don't have to go outside, if the streets are empty it's probably because is freezing outside and maybe you should make use of it :)

I’ve lived in the twin cities area for more than three quarters of my life, and you got a lot right! We do have a lot of cool museums, parks, and theaters. The spirit and atmosphere of Minneapolis is super impressive and I love it here.
A few things to note though as a local,
1: We accept the cold, and even enjoy it at times! It’s not that bad after a while.
2: Minneapolis style pizza isn’t impossible to eat, it just takes know-how! ;)
3: Fried cheese curds are delicious. Nothing more needs to be said.
4: We also have the largest airport in the upper Midwest. It is the HQ of Sun Country Airlines, and a hub of Delta Airlines!
5: If you can handle a bit of cold, you will love it here in Minneapolis/Minnesota. There are amazing experiences, food, and atmosphere in both twin cities. And Minnesota nice isn’t just a stereotype, everyone I’ve met here is awesome!

Nice video. I think you could have added the Midtown Greenway bike/ped pathway, Minneapolis' impressive network of bike connections and it's constant rank near the top as one of the best cities to bike ride in America. Would love to see you edit this video to simply add a shot of the amazing cantilever bridge feature of the Guthrie Theater, which offers the most amazing views of the Mississippi River (and access to that along with the bars and restaurants in the theater are free - you don't need to have a ticket to a show to explore this beautiful building). If you love fishing, you will love Minnesota. I live in a north suburb. There are three sporting good stores with live bait within 10 blocks of my home, and at least three more gas stations that sell bait in that radius. I can get in my truck and be at a lake with a place to plunk down a chair and start fishing within about 20 minutes from damn near any town in the state. And for you hard core outdoors folks... don't forget the Boundary Waters Canoe Area. I moved here from the Catskill's in '79. Hope to be buried here, hopefully a long time from now. By the way, if you are a recreational pilot, there are dozens of airports here. Best place to fly safe, flat as a pancake and plenty of roads and soy bean fields for that untimely landing.

The music scene! First Ave, The Cabooze, Turf Club -- sooo many iconic small venues.
The multiculturalism of the city - we have the highest Somali population outside of Somalia, a large Asian (particularly Vietnamese) population, Latinx, black, Scandinavian, etc.
Food!! Restaurants like Owamni (Native American w/completely decolonized menu), Eat Street and Cedar-Riverside areas

The bike trails are great, the softness on crime is ruining the city though, picking up the name, Minne-crapo-lis. Graffiti, trash, needles, homeless, shootings, car theft, fights, loitering, etc. The original st Anthony falls was nearer to st. paul according to a national park ranger. The gold medal park is silly and the USA bank stadium is hideous and creates a lot of light pollution, but MIA is amazing.
